@ElderGod-Winter-The-Renegade-Legionnaire book
Winter shrugged, "Well, guess their idea of death didn't stick… You're here, you're alive, I'm here, I'm alive, no one is dead. I'm fine, and you're fine. We're ok…"
Winter shrugged, "Well, guess their idea of death didn't stick… You're here, you're alive, I'm here, I'm alive, no one is dead. I'm fine, and you're fine. We're ok…"
Estelle nodded and slowly began to calm down even more. She relaxed and her breathing slowed and steadied.
"You want anything to drink Estelle?" Essar asked softly.
Estelle nodded again slowly. Her voice hadn't quite returned yet.
"Alright. I'll go get some water." Essar walked down the hall. 5 stuck her head out of her closet. "Did I hear someone scream?" She asked casually. "5, you could at least have the decency to sound concerned." Essar muttered, walking into the tiny kitchen and finding a clean glass. "My sincerest apologies." 5 mumbled before disappearing back into her closet. Essar filled the glass and walked back into the girls' room and gave the glass to Estelle.
Winter softly whispered, "If you need anything, let me or Elias know. We can help you remember what you once were. Now try and get some sleep. You'll need it…"
Estelle took the glass gratefully and sipped it. Her hands trembled. She took deep breaths and looked at Winter, Elias, and Essar. "Thank you," she whispered.
Winter smiled. "Anytime Estelle. Now, you need your sleep. You've had one heck of a day…" Elias smirked. "Anytime you need us, just yell." Winter cut her eyes at Elias. "If we weren't together, I would kill you. That wasn't funny…" Winter hit Elias in the shoulder. His face fell, "Winter, I'm sorry. I just… I didn't…" She sighed. "I can't be mad at you… The one thing that I can't do…" She walked over to him and rested her head on his shoulder.
(I'm trying to decide what our characters should do next now that we've rescued Estelle)
(Follow a lead on Essar's family, sabotage a imperial base, free some people, steal some stuff? Idk, these are some ideas…)
(Yeah, Idk. They could go to a planet thinking that it's fine, but there's a huge, secret Imperial base?)
Estelle lowered her gaze, slightly ashamed.
(Ooh, yeah. An Imperial base that buys slaves to work in mines and they find Essar's family there maybe.)
(I LOVE THAT IDEA LAVENDAR!!!)
(Yas!)
(OKAY!!! YAY!!)
(And Shiloh's? I have a plan, ok?)
(Yeah!)
Winter glanced at Estelle. "He didn't mean anything by what he said. I'm sure of it. His mouth speaks before his brain thinks it through… I believe he was thinking of what I did when I was alone on Hoth. I would seemingly yell a random name to the wind… Before we met, he followed me around on Hoth like a lost puppy…"
(I love both of you're ideas! Let's do it!!!)
Estelle tried a smile, but she felt that it looked to much like a grimace, so she stopped. She set the glass down at the foot of her bed and let the sheets cover her again.
(ALRIGHTY THEN)
Essar left the Hothians and walked into the cockpit to see where they were. Nowhere in particular really. Essar sighed heavily sitting down. He ran a scan for nearby planets. Nope, nope, nuh-uh. Nothing really in this part of the galaxy. Except, wait. Essar peered at the map. There was an imperial base of some sort located in an asteroid field. Essar checked the navi-computer. There weren't any outposts in this area. Bizarre. Essar scratched his head.
Winter aggressively whispered to Elias. "We need to talk. In private. You know what she has gone through. You went through something like this. At least be more supportive. And don't smart off. She's really fragile right now. Got it?" Elias looked away thinking he was going to die. He nodded furiously. Winter looked back over to Estelle. "Goodnight Estelle… Sleep well…"
Estelle was already asleep.
Shiloh had returned to the main room and sat down again.
Hi-5 exited her solitude and entered the main room.
Essar continued squinting at the base. What was it doing out here?
Shiloh looked up hastily when the droid entered.
