Logan looked up, listening to Remus's voice. His hair kept falling into his eyes, which was pretty frustrating, so he combed through it with his fingers.
Logan looked up, listening to Remus's voice. His hair kept falling into his eyes, which was pretty frustrating, so he combed through it with his fingers.
Remus walked in quietly. "Hey Lo! Are you doing alright?" He asked. He figured he'd probably just check on him because wanted to be alone and sometimes his messiness annoyed Logan.
Logan nodded, fidgeting with his bracelet again. He glanced between Virgil and Remus, the laptop still resting in his lap.
Remus sighed. "Do you want me to get you another jar of crofters?" He asked.
"No, I have two more…" Logan looked over at the jars on the beanbag. "I'm prepared."
"Alright then. Relax." Remus said before leaving.
Logan waved and wandered over to Virgil after he pulled up Netflix.
(Bump)
"Hey Lo, what'd you pick?" He asked gently, closing the door without a sound.
"I haven't yet…" Logan sat on the bed and scrolled through movies. "Probably Disney something." He paused to gently rub his black eye with one hand.
"Pick whatever you want, you have a much better taste in movies then anybody else here."
"Yeah, I guess… Mulan, maybe? The cultural technicalities are pretty intriguing… and it's a good movie." Logan clicked on Mulan.
"Alrighty, I'll go grab some blankets." Virgil said, grabbing some warm blankets off his bed aling with two weighted ones.
Logan stayed sitting on the bed and accepted a weighted blanket when Virgil offered it. He started the movie, laying his head on Virgil's shoulder.
Virgil smiled a bit before turning back to the movie and watchinf it.
Logan managed to stay awake through the entire movie, though he fell asleep during the credits. He was huddled against Virgil for warmth and seemed content.
Virgil shut the laptop down and quickly fell asleep after that.
Logan stayed asleep all night and woke up next to Virgil the next morning, a bit confused at first. Upon realizing where he was and that it was morning, he seemed very nervous.
Virgil opened his eyes shortly after, noticing Logan looked a bit anxious. "Lo, you okay?"
"I… I-I don't want to go to school…" Logan said quietly. "They'll hurt me again…"
"I'll go see if dad and papa can get you excused and I'll take xare of the kids who hurt you, alrihht?"
Logan nodded and hugged Virgil, blinking to try and prevent himself from crying. He couldn't cry now, he decided. Later; when he was alone, he could. Just not now if he could help it. "D-Do you think father is going to talk to miss Linda?"
"Probably, I'm sure Papa will whoop her ass." Virgil nodded, patting Logan's back. "Now I'll get ready for school, note that I'll probably be home early."
"Okay, V… see you later, I guess." He reluctantly pulled away and started fidgeting with his bracelet. He'd never missed a day of school, but he was scared. He couldn't go knowing he'd just get hurt again, especially since he hadn't completed the essays they'd tried to force him to write.
"You can stay in here if you want." He offered as he left the room, heading down stairs. "Logan can't go to school today and you might get a call from the office."
