Janus laughed as Remus roared again.
Virgil leaned into Logan, silently watching the performance.
Janus laughed as Remus roared again.
Virgil leaned into Logan, silently watching the performance.
"There has to be a way to undo this forcefield…" Roman muttered to himself, thinking about a way to escape. "Janus may seem all powerful, but this forcefield has to have a weakness… I just need to determine what it is."
Logan held the other close as he hummed in thought, coming up with escape plans for Roman based on the information that he had.
The story continued as Virgil snuggled up to Logan, feeling very calm and relaxed.
As the plot progressed, Roman found himself stuck in the forcefield. He had gone through multiple attempts at determining the forcefield's fatal weakness, but all of them had resulted in failure.
"Why is nothing working…?!" he yelled at Janus. "I'm aware that you're powerful, but this thing has to have a weakness…!"
"It appears that Janus is far more powerful than Roman originally believed. It is possible that he may not have a way out. What an interesting scenario," Logan smiled. "This is incredibly entertaining."
Janus cackled. “Even if it did, I would never tell you.”
Virgil nodded, smiling. “Yeah…”
Roman growled at him. "I will find a way out of here if you don't free me…!"
"Roman's character may be defeated, but I can't allow that to happen. However, the only possible solution appears to be the event of another person showing up. They'd need to be knowledgeable in magic and fighting, as they'd need to defeat Janus, take his staff, and undo Roman's forcefield," Logan stated, smiling as he got invested in the story. "That's what I've gathered, at least."
“I’d like to see you try,” Janus hummed.
Remus roared again because man, he really liked being the dragon.
Virgil turned to Logan. “What are you saying?”
(I decided it'd be fun if Logan randomly decided to get involved. :) )
"I'm saying that we may need another role if we want Roman to escape. To add to this story, add another twist, I am going to end up joining this," Logan explained to Virgil as he stood up. "The amount of plot twists so far has been amazing, so I'm adding another one."
As Logan walked away, Roman continued trying to break the forcefield to no avail. His attempts only backfired as the area grew smaller.
Virgil smiled, glad to see Logan so invested.
Janus cackled, unaware of Logan joining the show.
"I have no idea what you did, but I am still finding a way out of this…!" Roman declared, determined to find a way out despite all of his failed attempts.
As Roman yelled at Janus about trying to free himself, Logan entered the scene, now wearing a costume as well. His entrance was silent, but it caught Roman's attention. Roman kept Janus distracted by continuing with everything, giving Logan the perfect chance to take the staff.
"You shall be free now," he stated as he took the staff from Janus. He then reversed the forcefield, freeing Roman. "Now let's save the princess."
The story continued and once the performance ended, Virgil stood up, clapping. “You guys did great!” he grinned.
Janus and Remus bowed.
Patton beamed. “This was really fun!”
"Logan, your unexpected entrance really turned the story around! You're really good at keeping things interesting, you know!" Roman beamed. "That was a lot of fun!"
Logan nodded. "I found it rather enjoyable. I'm glad that you appreciated the plot twist with my character's spontaneous introduction."
Roman glanced at the others, still beaming. "And that was a fun performance!" he grinned as he looked at Virgil. "Thank you for enjoying our show!"
Virgil grinned. “I feel a lot better! Thanks, guys.”
Patton smiled. “We’re always going to be here for you.”
“Yep! You’re stuck with us for life,” Remus teased.
Janus laughed as Virgil snorted. “I don’t mind.”
Logan smiled at Virgil. "I'm glad that you're doing better now. It's nice to see you smiling and in a genuinely good mood again."
Roman nodded. "It truly is! My performance helped to cheer you up as well, and that is wonderful!" he smiled. "If you're ever upset again, I will always create some performance, and I know someone will join me! Acting aside, we truly will always be here for you."
Virgil nodded, leaning into Logan as he smiled.
Patton nodded, grinning.
“Just find one of us if you’re having a bad day,” Janus said softly.
Remus nodded. “We’ll do something to cheer you up!”
Logan smiled as he held Virgil close to him. "All of them are correct. We will be here for you and cheer you up whenever you need it."
Roman nodded as well. "Yep! I'm sure that all of us can think of things to help cheer you up!"
Virgil smiled softly. “Thanks…”
The others nodded, grinning.
"There's no need to thank us. We're just doing what we can to make you happy since we all care about you," Logan smiled softly. "We really do care about you."
Virgil hummed happily, hugging Logan gently.
The others nodded, joining the hug.
(Awwwww- I love them all so much-)
(Same here. This is all so sweet. :) )
Logan smiled at them. "It's not very often that all of us are close like this, but in these rare, brief moments, I find myself enjoying my interactions shared with you guys. Seeing all of you happy is a wonderful thing."
"Indeed it is. Peace in our kingdom allows for a happy ending," Roman smiled. "The peace allows for fun events, such as the performance from earlier. I enjoy it when you guys enjoy or partake in them. It makes acting even more fun."
Patton nodded. “It’s good for us…and it’s good for Thomas too!”
Janus smiled. “Thomas is finally at peace with all parts of him.”
Remus and Virgil nodded.
Logan nodded. "It is definitely a good thing for Thomas. That means that he is not experiencing any issues and has found inner peace. Janus is right about that. Thomas is at peace with every part of him, shown through us being at peace with each other."
“Which means when a problem appears, we’ll be able to resolve it quicker,” Virgil said softly.
Patton grinned. “Because we’ll work together!”
Janus and Remus nodded.
(I love how we've managed to bring everyone to peaceful terms with each other all because we got Logan to stop overworking himself. It does make a fair bit of sense, though, as he could logically end arguments and propose solutions to help everyone get along with the help of the others when they're no longer arguing)
Logan nodded. "Yep. Ever since I stopped overworking and started learning about emotions with your guys' help, things have been calmer around here," he stated softly. "I've been able to end your emotion-based arguments with logical points and reasoning, and you guys have all helped me propose solutions to help us get along."
"Yeah! I proposed the idea of turning situations into ideas for performances, which has helped me get along with Remus. Instead of actually fighting, now we resolve our arguments in fictional fights in whatever story I come up with!" Roman grinned. "It's been a while since I've actually enjoyed hanging out with my brother. Thanks for ending our arguments and allowing us to perform!"
“Plus Janus and I are on much better terms now than we were before,” Virgil pointed out. “Thanks to us talking things out.”
Janus nodded. “Which was very nice.”
Remus nudged Roman playfully. “Now I can be a thorn in my brother’s side while still having fun with him!”
Patton laughed. “We’re like a big happy family!”
(God, I love Patton-)
