"Mm… He usually reads pretty quickly, though. Do you think he went slower for Patton's sake?"
"Mm… He usually reads pretty quickly, though. Do you think he went slower for Patton's sake?"
"I'm not really sure, to be honest. They seem to enjoy talking about it together, though."
Virgil shrugged. "Hey, if they like it, they like it. It's nice to see Logan in such a good mood."
"Yeah, it really is good to see Logan in such a good mood. I'm glad that he's been in one so often as of recently."
"Mhmm. Sticking around with Patton is definitely good for him, even if he gets pissy at not being allowed to go to school or study into the night.
"Yeah. Being with Patton is definitely one of the best things for him, and sure, things do annoy him, but it's all from Patton looking out for him and his health."
Virgil nodded in agreement. "He'll figure that out eventually. He'll be alright eventually."
"Yeah, that's true, and a lot of that is thanks to Patton. I'm glad that there's finally something to make him realize things."
Virgil nodded again. "For a guy as smart as him, he can be incredibly dense."
"He can be sometimes. It is especially when it's concerning his own health."
"Yep. Reminds me of myself a bit, but I'm not smart either." He laughed weakly.
"Oh, Virgil, you're smart in your own ways. I don't see why people only consider being academically smart being smart… There are other ways to be smart."
"How on earth do you think I'm smart?" Virgil asked, laughing incredulously. "I'm incredibly dense pretty much all the time."
(I literally had to have an argument with my sister as to why my girlfriend's not stupid. This rp kinda reminds me of that with what Roman's saying)
"Academically, you might find yourself lacking, but that doesn't mean that you aren't smart. The world is judgmental, but everyone's smart in their own unique ways, and the world is too judgmental to realize."
(Oof)
Virgil sighed and shook his head a bit. "Roman, I'm socially awkward and unaware, so I'm not even good in that area."
(Seriously, my sister doesn't like her sometimes. I feel like she's slightly homophobic. She says that she isn't, but she had no problem with my girlfriend before we were dating and tried to use proof of us dating as blackmail once)
"Being social isn't the only other thing that matters. We all have our areas of expertise, and those are what we are smart in. It doesn't matter what it is, either."
(That sucks, sorry)
"I don't think I really have an area of expertise though, Roman. I really don't." Virgil sighed softly.
(Siblings are generally annoying, though, to be fair)
"Yes, you do, Virgil! Everyone has their own unique area of expertise! Sometimes they just have to find it!"
(Yeah)
"Well, I haven't found it, Roman. I'm not actually good at all that much…"
(It's my other younger sister's birthday today, too, and I'm working on a chibi comic of sorts)
"Virgil, you'll find your area of expertise one day, I can guarantee it!"
(Oo exciting)
"If you say so, Ro…" Virgil sighed and tucked his head under Roman's chin.
(Yeah!)
Roman held Virgil close to him. "It's true, Virgil. It really is true."
Virgil shrugged and fell silent, huddling close to Roman for warmth.
"I would never lie to you, Virgil. I may be an actor, but none of those words were for an act."
"I know, Ro…" Virgil sighed softly and moved a bit closer. "Should we go check on Patton and Logan?"
