Kaito smiled as he grabbed Shuichi's hand and went inside. They were quickly seated, as it was a small cafe that wasn't incredibly busy. He smiled softly as he sat across from Shuichi, his expression showing all of the love he had for the other.

"So…what should we do after breakfast?" Kaito asked him, continuing to smile. "I'm much better now that I'm with you, so I have the energy to do anything today!"

Before the other could respond to the comment, a kitten jumped into his lap. It was a common occurrence at the cafe, though it was still surprising. It was a good surprise, though.

Kaito laughed softly. "Cats tend to find their way in here. That kitten followed me around a couple of weeks ago," he smiled. "It's cute, isn't it?"

(That's fine! I'll make an edit to the reply so they can meet their cat at the cafe again, and we can continue tomorrow! ^^

(And I'm bringing drama tomorrow, but I wanted to end today's note on fluffy happiness since I prefer to discuss drama ideas in person, but anyways, I'm adding their cat back in! ^^))

Kaito smiled at the response. "It is adorable. It seems to like us, too," he stated, smiling softly. "If you're willing to raise it with me, can we keep it?"

His eyes lit up at the question. He seemed like a small child when it came to asking if they could keep the kitten, excited about it.

(Kaito can be childishly pure in the canon, so this is a reference to that. :) )

Kaito smiled at the other as he stood up. "Let's go, then!"

He had to fight the urge to pick Shuichi back up as he rushed back home with the other. He seemed excited to take the cat home. However, as he was running, he suddenly stopped as he ran out of breath. Seeing as he was an active person, it was unusual for this to occur, but he came to a complete stop.

Kaito looked at Shuichi after a moment and nodded. "Y-yeah… Just ran out of breath for a sec…" he replied as if it was nothing, though it was definitely something.

Kaito hugged the other back, enjoying the interaction. However, after a moment, he reached a realization as his pain worsened. "I…I may know what's going on with me…"

"If you remember from high school…I think it's the same issue from back then…" Kaito explained, sighing. "I don't think it's as bad as it was in high school. I mean, there's no blood, so it won't kill me. Don't worry…! I'm sure the chest pain and shortness of breath will fade soon…!"

Kaito blushed at the other's actions, but he felt himself growing weaker as the moments passed. "Shu…I…I dunno how much longer I'll be able to stand up… Just…don't panic…! I'll be fine…!"
