Kiibo only shook his head when Rantaro asked him to sleep. He seemed to ignore the following comment, as he wasn't sure why he would say it and didn't think that he would go through with it. He just stood there, not intending to sleep. Sometimes he could be stubborn, and that only seemed to get worse when he was tired, usually because he wanted to finish his projects before he allowed himself to sleep. Once that caused him to be awake for a few days straight, but he had only been up for one day at the time.

"I can assure you that I am alright, Rantaro," he responded softly. "As for your second comment, I am not sure how to interpret that. We just need to get some rice for Kokichi, that way we can draw the water out of his battery, and then we'll be done. I'll have to make sure it works, but I will sleep tonight, okay?"

Kiibo was a bit surprised when Rantaro picked him up, but he tried to make him put him down. That didn't work, however, and he soon felt himself be tossed onto one of the beds in the room. It was actually Rantaro's bed rather than his own, but that didn't matter to him. He just didn't understand why his roommate was so intent on getting him to go to sleep.

"Rantaro…I need to finish my work on Kokichi before anything else happens to him," he spoke softly. It seemed like he wanted to argue, although he did believe that he was still capable of doing things at the time. "I really told you that I'm not that tired. I'll be okay."

Kiibo sighed softly at Rantaro's statement. He didn't see how he would make any sort of error that would damage Kokichi more when all they needed to do was use rice to draw the water out of Kokichi's battery. There wasn't much of a way to mess that up.

"We just need some rice…" he argued, although his tone was now quiet and sleepy. "I don't see how I could damage him… That's all we need to do…"

Kiibo sighed softly once more before he ended up yawning before he could say anything in response to the comment. It seemed like he was done arguing since he remained silent, but he didn't go to sleep, either. Instead, he sat on Rantaro's bed silently, not really saying or doing anything.

Kiibo sighed softly at the comment that Rantaro gave him, but he didn't do or say much else. He seemed to be zoned out entirely, likely lacking the energy required to actually stay focused at the time. He truly was pretty tired by that point, despite all of his arguments, and his lack of ability to focus is likely what caused him to make some errors while repairing Kokichi.

Kiibo didn't fall asleep immediately even with how tired he was at the time. It took him a couple of minutes before he actually fell asleep, but after a moment, he finally did. It seemed like he couldn't keep himself awake any longer even if he tried. He had completely exhausted himself with all of his projects, so he really needed to sleep for a while.

As he was doing that, Kiibo was sleeping peacefully on his bed. It truly seemed like the inventor had completely worn himself out until he couldn't keep himself awake at all, but he was finally getting the sleep that he needed, much to Rantaro's relief. He could focus on helping him with Kokichi without having to worry about him, and once he was done, he decided to clean the dorm a bit. It was usually organized, but it seemed like Kiibo had been working on a lot of projects, so it was messy. He figured that cleaning his work space and the room in general would help him out.

Kiibo was only waking up when Rantaro asked the question, which was after a few hours, about six by that point, so it took him a moment to process the question. He sat up, yawned, and then walked over to Rantaro and Kokichi. After a moment, he powered Kokichi back on without saying anything. He still seemed to be a bit sleepy, but he had just woken up after six hour nap that he took after being so exhausted that he physically couldn't stay awake.

Rantaro chuckled softly at the question from Kokichi, finding it to be funny more than anything. It was certainly an interesting explanation for his sleepiness, but it wasn't the case, not by any means. Still, he found it funny how that was his automatic assumption.

"No, and I don't know why I would. He's not interested in that sorta thing, which makes it funny that you'd immediately ask that," he smiled softly. "As for why he's so sleepy, he's just overworked. He already slept for almost six hours, but I'm guessing he'd actually been up for a few days before then while constantly working. That would explain his lack of energy."

Kiibo was surprised when Kokichi snuggled him, and he was only more surprised when he turned his internal heater on. He was glad that it still functioned, but it was a surprise that he was using it at the time. Was he trying to get him to go back to sleep or something like that? It really felt like it.

"Kokichi," he yawned before he continued, "are you trying to get me to go back to sleep…? I just slept for six hours… I think I'm okay for now…"

Kiibo shook his head in response to Kokichi's comment. He wasn't the reason why he was exhausted, as he had only needed to repair him the previous night. Most of what kept him up were projects, whether they were for class, his future internship at his father's company, or just as a hobby, something that he worked on for fun and to improve his skills a bit more. It had nothing to do with Kokichi in the end. He was only one of the projects that he had to work on, but he did everything willingly.

"No, it wasn't you," he assured him. "I've been busy getting ahead on class projects and even on my future internship. Besides, I just like working on these things, and I've been trying to improve my skills. I just got carried away. If you're worried, now that Rantaro's back, I'll probably take better care of myself.,. He's sorta the reason why I ever did…"

Rantaro gave his pinky to Kokichi and returned the promise. He would be sure that Kiibo took care of himself, just like he always had since the day those two met. He noticed that the inventor had a tendency to focus on his projects until they completely consumed him, enough that he wouldn't take a break until they were finished, so he always had to remind him to take care of himself. It didn't surprise him that he had forgotten to while he was on his trip.

"I promise that I'll look out for him and make sure that he takes care of himself," he responded softly. "I've had to ever since we met. He tends to get so focused on his projects that he forgets that he has needs."

Rantaro glanced at Kokichi once he stood up, unsure of where he was going to lead them. Kiibo didn't seem to know, either, so this was definitely going to be interesting, but both were happy to see that Kokichi had energy again and seemed to be able to move around and such. It finally seemed like all of the repairs had been a success.

"Where are we going?" Rantaro asked as he chuckled softly. "I'm ready for an adventure, but where are we going?"
