Rantaro sighed as he heard what the other was saying. The comment was definitely concerning, to say the least. He wasn't sure what the issue was, either. It was difficult to determine whether this was normal for the other or if it was due to some form of poison. He was aware of Kaito's health issues, so he needed to determine what the cause of the current issue was.
"Alright, that's concerning…" he sighed. "Now, did Maki do anything to you? I can't tell if this is due to your health issues or if she poisoned you, but I'm concerned. Either way, I'm going to help you, don't worry."
This time kokichi chimed in “ it's his health, he's stressing too much and it's taking a physical toll..”
Rantaro nodded in response. While it would have been unlikely that Maki had done anything, he did need to rule that possibility out for obvious reasons. Now that there was no need to suspect poison, he could calm himself down and not have to worry about figuring out what was used and all that.
"I did need to rule that out, but now that you've confirmed that it's not an issue, it's nothing to worry about," he said softly. "Is there any way that I can help?"
“He just needs to calm down “ kokichi mumbled, planting a few kisses to kaits forehead
Rantaro nodded in response again as he continued to hold Kaito close to him. He was determined to calm the other down, and with Kokichi's help, it seemed likely that they could get him to calm down before anything bad happened to him. All they needed to do was work together to calm him.
"Hey, Kai, it's gonna be alright," he whispered softly before kissing the other's forehead softly, following Kokichi's actions. "We're here now. Just focus on us, alright?"
Jairo did start to come back to reality, his breathe evening and the tears drying “I’m sorry..”
Rantaro shook his head. There was no need for the other to be sorry about anything that was going on. He had done absolutely nothing wrong, and fear was understandable given their current situation. They were dealing with a professional assassin, after all. Being worried that she could kill any of them with ease was a natural feeling.
"No need to be sorry, love," he whispered softly. "You're alright, and that's what matters. No need to apologize for anything… You did nothing wrong…"
Rantaro sighed softly as he heard that. There truly was nothing that Kaito had done wrong, so there was no need for him to apologize. Honestly, it concerned him a bit that the other viewed something that was out of his control as him doing something wrong. In the end, it was no one's fault, and it was something that they could get through, so it wasn't much of an issue.
"You really didn't," he assured the other. "You did absolutely nothing wrong, and everything's still going to be okay. Kokichi and I are right here, and we love you."
“I love you too..” he said softly as he nestled into rantaro
Rantaro smiled softly as he held Kaito close to him. The other was calming down, and that was a good thing. Maybe he would end up having a decent day after all. Nothing was wrong anymore. Their only threat was gone, at least at the time, and they all had each other.
"Just relax, okay, Kai?" he requested softly. "And maybe try to get some sleep, too. I know that you're tired. It's alright, though, I promise. Kichi and I aren't going anywhere."
“Okay..” kaito whispered, laying back down,
Kokichi quickly lay down with the other, letting his boyfriend curl around him
Rantaro smiled softly at the two as he kept both of the others close. Hopefully the two of them would get some sleep and just relax as if nothing was wrong. All he wanted was for the other two to be okay. He was going to make sure that both were happy and safe, no matter what. That was his promise to them the moment that they started dating.
(Sorry! Was doing homework!)
Rantaro smiled softly at the words. He loved hearing that the others loved him. As their lover, he was determined to always make sure that the others were safe and happy. With the threat gone, at the time, that meant providing comfort as well as making sure that they took care of themselves. As long as he got the two to sleep, since he had gotten them to eat, things would be fine.
"I love you, too, Kaito," he responded softly. "Now please get some sleep, alright?"
“ I will” kaito mumbled, snuggling into both of his lovers
Rantaro smiled at Kaito's response and following actions. It was rather clear that he was already half asleep by the time that he had responded, but that was a good thing, all things considered. He would finally get some much needed sleep. If Kokichi and Kaito were in good moods later that day, Rantaro decided that they could go out, but his main priority was actually making sure that the other two were okay.
Kaito slowly passed out, his face tucked in kokichis messy hair
Rantaro kept his lovers close to him as Kaito fell asleep. He sighed in relief when the other did, glad that he was finally getting the sleep that he needed. He didn't say much, allowing Kokichi to sleep as well, but he was happy. The two were sleeping, and that showed that they would be okay with time. As hours passed, he continued to hold them close, and he had fallen asleep himself at some point. He was worn out from other things in his life, so even he needed to catch up on some sleep. By the time either of his boyfriends were awake, he had been asleep for a couple of hours.
Kokichi was the first to wake up, getting up and going to the bathroomm
As Kokichi got up, Kaito and Rantaro continued to sleep. Kaito was in Rantaro's arms, and both appeared to be happy and comfortable. At least they were sleeping well and regaining energy. Even if there wasn't much to do since they were asleep, they were happy.
“The fuck is wrong with my hair!?”
Rantaro woke up when he heard Kokichi yelling, although he didn't know what the other was yelling about. Since he had just woken up, and suddenly at that, he was only half awake, so he had absolutely no idea what was going on. Besides, he was already surprised that he had fallen asleep, as he never meant to. He didn't realize how tired he was earlier in the day.
"Hmm…" he mumbled sleepily as he opened his eyes. "Kichi…?" he called out before yawning. Then he noticed that the other was gone, so it must've been him who yelled. "Kichi, what were you yelling about…?"
As he asked that, he stood up. He figured that the other was likely in the bathroom since he wasn't in the bedroom. He wondered why the other was yelling. Was he just being chaotic? Was something wrong? He had no idea, but he hoped that the other was alright, so he rushed there. Then he knocked on the door.
Kokichi open the door, his hair halfway losing its color “wtf!?”
Rantaro was surprised when he saw that. It didn't make any sense how Kokichi's hair was losing its color. Was that even possible? It was so sudden, and his hair was fine earlier. In the span of a couple of hours, it began fading. That didn't make sense.
"Whoa, what the hell?" he asked. "Um, Kichi, how is that possible…? Last I checked, your hair color was natural, so what is going on? It was fine two hours ago…"
