Appearance: Finley has long-ish hair, which goes to her upper back and is mostly straight. The front strands of her hair are dyed acid green and the rest is dyed dark pink, though her original hair color is pale blonde. Finley has light skin and lots of freckles, especially on her nose, cheeks, and shoulders. She is average height at 5' 4" and has an athletic body type. Finley has two ear piercings on each side and a sarcastic smirk that she typically wears. Her eyes are hazel, and can look different colors depending on the light, though they usually appear green with a hint of brown. She has long, graceful fingers that would be perfect for playing the piano and her legs make up most of her height.
Style: She usually wears a crop top with sweatpants or 90s-looking camo pants and a beanie when she is taking a break from being Acid Spider. She has loves her black Vans high top sneakers.
Personality: Finley is sarcastic, blunt, and a bit rude when one first meets her. She can also be quite charming and charismatic to get something that she wants. She's not afraid of hurting people's feelings or saying whatever she thinks is will help her out. She likes to maintain an "aura of mystery" partially because she thinks it's cool and partially because her earth is not like other earths (more on that later). Finley is skilled at lying and manipulating people. She's quick with a quip or comeback, and hates backing down from a fight. She's hotheaded and can be easy to anger, but is also smart and cunning.

Background: Finley used to have a normal life. Well, mostly normal. Her parents were both incredibly intelligent scientists who were working on a way to create a way to fix all of the environmental problems. When Finley was thirteen, they were hired by a man who seemed a bit shady at first. Finley's parents decided to continue their research apart from the man, whose man was Otto Octavius. One night, Finley woke up in the middle of the night to find some of her parents' notes and work completely gone! It had disappeared, but Finley had no idea who could have taken it, so she suspected there was some foul play on Octavius's part. However, she didn't have any powers so she couldn't do anything about it. Several heroes tried to stop Dr.Octavius, but in the end they all fell short. He tried to use some stuff he came up with as well as Finley's parents' work to create something that could released into the air and steal the superpowers of people (though it was really heroes he wanted the powers from, obviously) but it ended up doing much more than that. After his triumph, the gases that he released did take the powers of heroes, but it killed many of the normal people, including Finley's parents. Of the ones who survived, several developed powers or mutations of some sort. In a sad irony, one of the kids who had gotten powers killed Dr.Octavius, but it was too late. Now there aren't really heroes or villains anymore, just those with powers and those without. Everyone is just trying to survive at this point. The toxicity in the air has decreased some after four years, and less people are dying or developing mutations or powers now, but it's possible that the air would slowly kill someone new to the earth if they aren't one of the ones who would survive it originally.

Name: Acid Spider
Earth: Earth-31
Powers: She has the typical spider-person powers such as wall-crawling, web shooting, and spider sense. She also has the enhanced agility, strength, and speed. The only real additional power she has is that she's immune to the toxicity of Earth-31's air and her sweat, tears, and blood all have high levels of toxicity and can affect people like acid, hence the name Acid Spider.
Backstory: She got her powers from the initial burst of toxicity into the air from Dr.Octavius's experiment, and has been somewhat of anti-hero ever since.
Suit: Since Finley's world is still trying itself back on its feet, there aren't a lot of people she can go to for a super suit. So she made her own with the materials that she had. Her spider suit consists of an acid green hooded sweatshirt with a dark pink spider painted on it (she has always loved painting), acid green high-waisted sweatpants, a dark pink bandana to cover her nose and mouth, and light pink hightop Vans.
