Snowface walked over to where Finchkit was pacing in anticipation. "You excited?" She asked. She had a soft spot for the little kit. She was good friends with Finchkit's mom.

"Of course!" Finchkit stopped her pacing to talk to Snowface. "I've been waiting for this day for so long! I'm just anxious. I want to be the best medicine cat I can be for the clan. I wont let you down! At least, I'll try my best." She glanced over to where her siblings were talking. They had been made apprentices about a week earlier. She was the runt, and they kept telling her she'd never become an apprentice. But here she was, getting ready to be a medicine cat apprentice.

Snowface nodded. "I'm sure you will."

"I want to make them proud…" She said quietly to herself as she watched her siblings. She would finally have something she was good at, something to be proud of.
