@heeey-bitchhhhhhhhhhh
"Well?" Phoenix said.
"Well?" Phoenix said.
Corian waited.
(Did you want me to be the tribute?)
(If you want to be)
Phoenix looked at the tribute.
The tribute hesitated. "I-I…uhm…" She stammered, brushing her hair back from her face.
Corian waited.
"Yes?" Phoenix asked.
The girl was obviously very young, and she looked around the group of careers fearfully, stammering.
"What?" Phoenix asked.
"S-sorry…" She backed away.
"It's okay. Did you want something?" Phoenix asked.
She shook her head. "Please don't hurt me…" She couldn't have been any older than thirteen.
"Hey, we, or at least I, won't," Phoenix said.
"B-but you're careers…" The girl whispered.
"I know, I know," Phoenix said.
Her eyes were wide as she looked around the group.
"It's okay," Phoenix said.
She backed away.
Phoenix looked at the others, all of whom holding their weapons. "NO!"
The girl bit her lip.
The Careers did not lower their weapons. They got into fighting stances.
The girl backed away, fear in her wide eyes.
Phoenix, who was against these games even with how much she trained, glared at the Careers, saying, "I'm done! You guys only care about victory! No, you only care about yourselves! I'm leaving the Career Pack and helping people out! Good-bye!" She grabbed the girl's hand and ran off with her and the supplies and weapons she had added to the Career's stuff.
(And in the end, this becomes my example. XD)
Corian froze, unsure of what to do.
The girl stiffened slightly.
"It'll be okay," Phoenix said.
She looked at Phoenix, biting her lip.
"I'm here. I'll protect you," Phoenix said.
