(Oof indeed)
We ready to start the rp?
Yep, we’re ready!
Kirana was a girl who had secrets. She didn't like that she had these secrets, but it was a part of her, almost as if she would never be able to not have any secrets. She sat in her room, reminiscing her past, when she was carefree, young, and innocent. She loved to hang out with her friends, until… until They came. When They came to take her away, her life changed, and she wasn't innocent anymore. Kirana was jolted out of her thoughts by a knock on her door, making her jump in surprise. "Oh, it's just you," she gave a sigh of relief, turning to see her sister, April at the door.
April entered the room and sat at the edge of her sister’s bed. She had been so distant lately, and it really did worry her. Kirana wasn’t, we’ll ever since she returned, she never was the same. April tucked a lock of hair, tapped her fingers on her knees and sighed. April couldn’t explain how worried she was, because she was sure there wasn’t even a word for it. Instead of trying to explain, she had decided to do something else.
“Kirana, is anything wrong? You seem distant lately.” April said. Her worry was evident in her voice.
"I'll be fine," Kirana answered vaguely. Although she thought that April deserved to know what had happened in the time that she had been gone, she couldn't bring herself to tell her, but really, she couldn't bring herself to tell anyone what happened. "…I'm sorry, I don't mean to worry you. You don't need to worry about me, I'll be fine," she added, hearing the evident worry in April's voice.
April knew she wouldn’t be fine, but she didn’t want to point it out. She thought of forcing her to tell her what was wrong, but thought better of it. She crossed her arms, but didn’t pester her sister anymore. She sighed and stood up from the bed. “Ah, well, if you say so.” She walked away from the bed, but then stopped halfway across the room. “Mom and dad are taking us to get dinner at some restaurant. They want you downstairs in a couple of minutes.” And with that, she left the room, slightly annoyed.
(Aaaaaaa really sorry! I swear I thought I replied to this!)
Kirana was a little relieved at the change of subject, and looked up as April left the room. Although… she hated to see April worry about her. But at the mention of their parents, she had to bite her bottom lip to keep tears from spilling out. In fact, the night before, she'd had a nightmare about her parents dying in a car crash. No. They're still alive, right? She got up, and peeked out of her room, immensely relieved to see her mother walking to her room. "Hey, you coming?" her mother asked gently.
Kirana nodded, coming out of her room. "Yeah, I'm coming."
(It’s quite alright.)
April waited outside in the car with her dad, waiting for her sister and her mother. She fidgeted around in her seat, while tapping her fingers on the window. She knew that before she had left the house, her mother had gone upstairs to get Kirana, and she mused that it might take a couple of minutes. She sighed and put her head on the door, looking straight ahead.
Even from the very beginning, Kirana knew she was different, quite different from the rest of her family. She'd always known that there was something that made her different from the rest of her family. Something, but she'd never been told what. The many times she'd asked before They had come to take her away, they hadn't told her. It wasn't long after she'd been taken away had she learned. As she found her way into the car, she closed her eyes, remembering what had happened when They had come to take her.
The eggnoid mark on her chest flashed a bright red, filling the entire room with light. "Kirana!" her mother, Putri had cried. "What's wrong?"
Kirana blinked slowly, turning to face her mother, unaware of the light that radiated from her chest. "What do you mean Mommy?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. And then, They came. Three men, in dark grey suits, white hair and red eyes burst through the front doors. They stood at probably, maybe six feet? (Kirana couldn't quite remember how tall they were, just that they were tall.
"Mr. and Mrs. Chandra, we're sorry to inform you that… we must take Kirana away now," the one in the middle said, his bright red eyes staring down at the two parents.
"B-but why? Did we do something wrong?" Putri asked, her eyes growing wide as she went to put her arms around Kirana.
"Mommy, what's going on?" Kirana started to ask, before calling out in an anxious tone, arms outstretched as one of the other men scooped Kirana up from Putri's arms, "Mommy!"
"Where are you taking her?" Putri asked, eyes wide. "What did we do wrong?"
"Mrs. Chandra, Kirana's eggnoid mark emitted a red light, which means that the terms of her contract have been violated. We cannot be sure what exactly happened, but it has nothing to do with us," the one who had first spoken explained, turning to leave. "Let us go, now."
"But-but I didn't do anything! I was just feeding her…" Putri's voice faltered at the end, and gazed at Kirana as the three men left.
The one who appeared to be the leader stopped, but didn't turn around. "She might be defective, then. Either way, we'll have to take her away," he explained again.
April sighed as her mother entered the car, and as her father started the car. The car started moving and April looked out the window, looking at the establishments, parks, houses and cars as they passed by. She slowly turned to face her sister, who had her eyes closed and looked like she was thinking or remembering something. She opened her mouth to say something, but quickly closed it, not wanting to anger or disturb her sister.
Kirana shook her head lightly, opening her eyes. She shivered the tiniest bit, and then leaned her head against the window. "Where are we going?" she asked, her voice distant, as if she was lost in her thoughts, but that wasn't the case. Her mind, it wasn't in the right mood, and everything just seemed so far away.
April only shrugged, not knowing what to say. It was true that she didn’t know where they were heading, only that their parents were taking them out to dinner. For all she knew, it could be a fancy restaurant, a fast food restaurant or some other kind of restaurant. It didn’t make it any better that her parents grinned at each other and didn’t say a word.
Kirana never got a response, though she caught the look that their parents exchanged, she didn't say anything back and resumed her previous activity of doing nothing. When they arrived at the final destination, she looked up, and was quite surprised. "What-what is this place?" she asked. The building was decked out in extravagant golden decorations, and older-style street lamps decorated the main entrance, one on either side of the doors. There was no sign anywhere in sight, but their parents seemed to know exactly where they were.
"Come on in girls!" Putri smiled at them, holding the door to the building open, having already exited the car. From what she could see of the inside, Kirana saw a bright blue carpeting and the side of rose-gold frame.
April eyes widen once she saw the place. It was so magnificent, that it completely brought this place to number one in her ”Most magnificent places in the world.” She smiled as she and her sister entered the building. “T-This. . what is this place? Did I die and go to heaven?”

Putri smiled. "It's quite a fancy restaurant, isn't it? Your father and I have some news to tell you, and we thought we'd do it in style."
Even though They had changed her very much in those five years they kept her before she escaped, Kirana still couldn't help but gape at the magnificence and beauty of the building. "Ah~ are you sure?"
