Patton opened the door to the apartment. "Hello!" He wheeled his suitcases into the last empty room. Patton's room was medium size, with two windows facing the street. One of the windows was set back from the rest of the room, and it had a small bathroom attached.
Patton went back down the stairs to get the rest of his things from his car. He returned a few minutes later, carrying a giant box. Straining, he eventually got it into his room, and pushed it against the wall.
Roman slid down the hallway, red fluffy socks on his feet. "Hello! I'm Roman King, it is wonderful to meet you!" He called, sliding to a halt in front of Patton.
Remus popped his head out his room to see the dad looking figure that had just arrived. He then slid down the hall like his brother, only with dark green socks. Instead of the sliding come to a stop on its own, Remus purpously let himself run into his brother. "And I'm Remus King." He said with his signature grin.
"Hey!" Roman yelled as he fell against the wall but did push his brother back. Karma bitch. "This is the friend rat that our family decided to keep."
Patton chuckled, walking out of his room. "I'm sure it's just sibling rivalry, kiddos. My name's Patton, it's nice to meet you too!"
Remus wasn't able to keep his footing and tumbled over."Hello!" He said, waving from the floor.
Patton laughed. "Hi!" He glanced between Roman and Remus. "Are you two twins?"
Dee walked into the room and looked at Patton, “Sadly they are, if you didn’t already have enough of one there is another.”
Patton turned to face the newcomer. "That wasn't very nice… What's your name?"
Logan eventually figured he might as well meet the people he'd be living with and left his room. Ugh… they're all in the exact same place. Typical. He slid into the outskirts of the group and sized up each of his new roommates.
Patton noticed Logan enter the room. He turned to him. "Hello, I'm Patton!" Patton studied his face. "I like your glasses!"
Logan looked over at Patton when he was addressed. "Greetings. I'm Logan. Your glasses are adequate as well."
“Ah yes and I’m Dee, I hope you aren’t scared of snakes.” He said then walked back out of the room. He still had to set up his tank. He had left his snake on his dresser with the sun lamp and heat rock.
"Snakes? Neat!" Patton had a smile on his face. He really enjoyed the company of his new roommates. Hopefully, they'd still accept him if they found out about his power.
Remus got up from the floor and brushed himself off a bit as he looked around at the wide variety of roommates. "I can already tell this is going to be fun!" He chuckled.
"You think anything that has any sexual implications is fun… Or trash, please tell me you aren't going to make your room into a garbage heap again." Roman groaned.
"Yeah, if you wanna be productive, you have to have a clean room, kiddo," Patton said, turning back to the twins.
Remus rolled his eyes. "Of course I am. I have organized chaos. Your just can't see that." He huffed as he too began to think about his powers as well.
"No, you have a trash heap that makes my perfect kingdom cringe!" Roman crossed his arms and huffed too.
"And that is why you have your own room, your highness!" He said as he took an over dramatic bow.
Dee poked his head out of his room, “calm down, both of your rooms are perfect. Now stop fighting it’s so boring to listen to.”
Patton was looking back and forth between the twins as they argued. After Dee interrupted the conversation, Patton started back towards his room. "I have to unpack, kiddos. Please don't argue with each other."
Remus wandered into the kitchen to get away from his brother. "Why are there six jars of jelly in the fridge?" He yelled after a minute or two.
Logan decided to just return to his room at that. They won't throw it out, anyways… it's just jelly.
