Virgil put the cans away in a cabinet, looking around. The place was pretty decent; he could get used to living here. It wasn't too fancy nor too shabby. Turning away, he started to go back to his room, only to realize someone else was coming out into the kitchen. Oh no.
"Hello!" Patton grinned as he walked into the kitchen. "I'm Patton! What's your name, kiddo?"
Remus smiled as he moved Deciet from one hand to another. "What type of snake is he?" He asked.
"he's a garter snake." Dee replied.
Remus made a humming noise. "He's very handsome, by snake standards." He complemented, looking the snake in the eyes. "Why the name Deceit though?"
"Hey," Virgil greeted him, waving. "I'm Virgil. You're one of my roommates?"
"mmm, because it's the name he has." Dee laughed smiling, “also yes he is handsome.”
Remus raised an eyebrow, slightly confused by that reply but shrugged it off. "You're very handsome, Deceit." He said, smiling at the snake.
(Shhhhhhhhhhh! Let it happen.)
(That awkward moment when you've just spent 10 minutes talking about how cute a guy is, then you start flirting with his pet instead)
Dee smiled at him, "Sorry, I don't think my snake wants to be in a relationship with you even with your wonderful compliments of him."
"Yeah! Nice to meet you, kiddo! You wanna meet the others now, or do you want to get settled first?" Patton realized he was still holding his plushie, and hid it behind his back. "Oh, I'm still… holding that." Patton giggled and put it on his shoulder. "He can live there now," he said, patting its head.
Roman stood up, stretching. "My room's closed for anyone who tries to take my stuff, that means you, Remus!" Roman announced, walking out the door and closing it with a slam. He headed downstairs, deciding that he should still talk to the last roommate.
"Nice plushie," Virgil couldn't help but smile slightly, relaxing more. "I'll meet the others, I guess. I can finish organizing later."
"Thanks!" Patton's face brightened as he stroked his plushie. "Have fun meeting the others, kiddo! You'll like them, a lot. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go back to my room for a while."
Remus laughed. "I don't expect to get a date from your snake. I may be a bit on the freaky side, but not enough to do that to a poor snake." He said as he gave Deciet back to Dee.
"I'm well aware of that, dipSh!t!" Remus yelled at Roman when he slammed the door. "I'm going to kill him one day, I swear." He mumbled.
"make sure that nobody sees it when you do.” Dee said and took his snake, “well I’m going to my room.” He said and walked out.
"See you later," Virgil called to Patton. He let out a sigh, heading upstairs. It wasn't as bad as he thought it would be; he just hoped the other introductions would go as smoothly.
Remus chuckled at Dee's response. "Thanks for the tip." He said with a smirk. After Dee left the room, Remus tried to envision what Deciet looked like. He held his hand up like he had done with the snake and watched as wisps curled around his fingers until it formed the sight of a snake. He couldn't feel it, because it wasn't real, but it looked incredibly life like.
Dee thought that Remus was charming and a bit cute. Maybe he could later find out what he thought about him. He just had to wait till somebody left. He went to his room and put deceit in his tank then laid down.
Remus dismissed the illusion after a minute, deciding that he wanted to see the other roommate he hadn't seen, the emo. He opened the door and walked out of Roman's room, only to walk into someone.
