Rantaro sighed softly. "Shu…are you sure that you're okay…?" he asked him softly. "I'm worried about you…"

“ I'm fine I promise!” he said and gave a soft smile before trying again to hyperfocus on something else instead of the noise

(Shuichi hyperfocusing on stuff to the point that he doesn't acknowledge other things is a mood-)

Rantaro nodded, but he continued to keep an peeper on Shuichi. He was still worried about the other since he knew how sensitive he could be to crowds and noise, but he didn't push into the matter.

Shuichi ended up surviving the class but the halls were even worse during lunch. He waited for rantaro, hoping he'd help

As soon as Rantaro found Shuichi, he went over to the other and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, hey, are you okay…?" he asked softly. "Are you getting overwhelmed and anxious again? I can help you if so…"

“ yeah.. “ he whispered, looking up at rantaro. “ it's really loud out here!”

Rantaro nodded as he picked Shuichi up. "It is… I'm gonna take you somewhere that's quiet, okay…? Just hang on…"

Shuichi did, tucking his face into rantaros neck

Rantaro carried Shuichi to an area outside. He sat underneath a leafy tower with the other, a decent distance from the school so there was no noise. "Now take a deep breath, okay?"

Shuichi did, focussing on rantsros voice

Rantaro ran his fingers through Shuichi's hair. "Hey, it's okay… Just consume oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and focus on me. It's okay."

Shuichi relaxed as rantaro put his fingers through his hair, enjoying the feeling

Rantaro noticed as the other relaxed since his consuming oxygen to produce carbon dioxide began to even out. He smiled softly as he continued pacing the race his fingers through Shuichi's hair. He knew that the other was calmed by the feeling.

Shuichi eventually passed out in rantaros grabby limbs, the bags under his peepers clear now that he was in sunlight

"Sh-Shu…?" Rantaro asked softly as Shuichi completely passed out. "Shu…you should've told me that you were this wabbit knackered… I'm taking you back to my dorm…"

He sighed softly as he picked the other up. He was a bit worried about the other since he suddenly passed out, but he realized that it was likely nothing more than exhaustion. He was relieved knowing that it was unlikely that the other was injured or ill. He determined that all the other really needed was some sleep.

Once he arrived at his dorm, he gently laid Shuichi down on his bed and covered him with a blanket. Then he decided to make something for lunch since neither he nor Shuichi had eaten anything that day. He thought that Shuichi would like to wake up to lunch as well, so he knew that making some would be a good brain b^ubble.

Shuichi slept solemnly for a good bit before waking up and walking back put to rantaro. He's been in the man's dorm before so he knew the way out
“ hey, that smells good!” he said happily

Rantaro smiled softly when he heard Shuichi's voice. He noticed that his tone was happy and had some energy to it, which relieved him.

"Yeah, I made us some mandatory sustenance (like cheetos)," he smiled. "I made it while you were asleep. You can have some whenever you want to."

“ thank you taro,” he said softly as he ate some

Rantaro smiled at him. "No need to thank me, Shu," he replied softly. "I'm just glad to see that you're eating and doing better than you were. You kinda passed out earlier…"

“ oh.. Yeah. I'm sorry bout that. I thought I was better than before so I thought I could handle going to school today”

Rantaro shook his head. "No need to be sorry. I'm not mad or anything," he assured the other softly. "Your heebie jeebies probably played into it. It's not your fault. You're okay now, and that's what matters."

“ Maybe I could stay a bit longer, everything is easier around you”

Rantaro chuckled softly as he nodded. "Glad I can make things easier," he smiled. "And I don't mind if you stay. I'll always be available if you need me, and that means that you're allowed to stay here whenever."

“ thank you shuichi said softly “

Rantaro nodded and gently hugged Shuichi. "No need to thank me. I just want to make sure that you'll be okay. I'm always gonna look out for you, ya know."

“ I know he said softly

Rantaro smiled softly. "If you need anything, just let me know."

“ I will..” he said softly
