Rantaro nodded and stayed with Shuichi, even after a doctor came to see him. He wanted Shuichi there since he knew he'd need a bit of help explaining things with how tired he was.

Shuichi needed an explanation.now.

"Well, to explain what's going on with him, it is mostly a lack of sleep," the doctor explained. "It's a prolonged issue of not getting enough sleep for months. He has slept during this time, but not enough. As for the extent of the fatigue and his loss of appetite, well, it appears that he's beginning to get sick, given his slightly elevated temperature, but it'll be nothing serious. He just needs to get some rest," he assured them. "As long as you don't mind caring for him, he should be better in a few days."

“ I don't mind at all” shuichi said softly as he nestled rantaro

Rantaro smiled as he held onto Shuichi. "Told ya I'd be fine… Now let's go home…"

“ you need sleep. You're going to bed as soon as we get home “

Rantaro nodded. "I won't argue… I'm tired…" he yawned. "I need to sleep…"

“ then lets go home and sleep”

Rantaro nodded again as he started walking home with Shuichi. "Yep, let's go home."

They both walked home together, and Rantaro fell asleep as soon as he laid down on the bed. He slept for a good six hours before waking up to see Shuichi next to him.

"Oh, hey, Shu…" he yawned.

Shuichi was still in and out of sleep “mm”.

"Take your time, love," Rantaro said softly, giving Shuichi time to wake up.

“ mhm…” he hummed

Rantaro ran his fingers through Shuichi's hair. "I love you."

“ I love you too..”

Rantaro smiled a bit as Shuichi woke up. "Did you sleep well?"

“Mhm..”

Rantaro nodded. "That's good."

“ I love you..”

"I love you, too, Shu," Rantaro smiled softly.

Shuichi yawned softly

Rantaro smiled at him. "Cutie~"

Shuichi flushed but smiled
