so idk if anyone else does this, but I tend to listen to music and listen to the singer's voice to find voices that match how I think my character's voices sound.
it's pretty fun, and you can also find new music along with having something to show people so they know how your characters sound.
so I was thinking we could all start tossing links around to show how our own characters sound and to also help other people find voices too!

I know Alene has a rather high pitched voice. But most of my voices are only distinguishable whn put besides each others.

I know at least one of my characters sounds like John Mulaney (probably the one named John) I would want Club to sound like Keith David, but that might be overkill. And then I have a lot of characters would sound like Japanese voice actors since they have the right tone or inflection for a specific character. Apollo could theoretically sound like anyone, but preferably sings like Billy Joel. And Hex would sound, just, awful. Like a legion of voices that have no specific sound to it. Just words that are said and understood. And The Void sounds like thoughts.
i try and describe my character's voices through words. Usually going into detail about how loud they talk, their dialect, accents, etc.
"Alice has a very small and breathy voice, usually talking in a loud whisper. She often sounds as if she's out of breath and she's trying to catch it while talking. When speaking to large groups Alice's voice gets very tremulous and she has a hard time finishing sentences. Her laugh is quite soft and is described by many people as "cutesy." One of my characters I imagine to have a voice that sounds very similar to Noctis from Final Fantasy 15. I really want to try to animate a small clip with my character and some of Noctis's audio for practice, but I can't seem to find any. :c
