Your story sounds really cool too.
(And I'm glad you think mine sounds cool, because it's really a hot mess and everyone in the story except like one angel child has done horrible things)

actually these characters are in two different stories but it would take forever to explain everything haha.
i cant wait for the story to be more fleshed out! Also that's okay, my characters all have tragic ass back stories gaha
Lol they still sound cool.
Yup, tragic backstories ftw. And I try to vary the tragedy? Like not everyone's parents are dead, and most of the characters are adults, so parents aren't holding them back.
Yeah same! All of my characters are like 19-27 ish, and their stories, althought hellllaaa tragic or exaggerated, are still pretty different. One was forced in a science experiment for 14 years, one was adopted and his family was wrongfully imprisoned, one just became psychotic i guess her's isn't very tragic, and one was brainwashed into killing his best friend.
Olliver here just killed his friends family on purpose and theres more that goes into that but thats the basis
I have 4 MCs. One was an orphan, but later learns his mother is still alive and that he has 2 older sisters. One of them was raised as a hit man in a local mafia and extorted into doing terrible things (his parents were part of the organization too, but were captured and killed at some point). The other two (Elizah and Niko) were just kind of left to raise themselves because their parents were always traveling for work, and then Niko was killed by his own mother because she hated the things that he did.
As for side characters, they're not so tragic? Like we have the 2 older sisters of the first guy, who have spent years thinking their dad and little brother are dead (their father is at this point, but whatever). And then there's one who had a good upbringing, but he's chronically ill and isn't expected to live past 30 (he's 27 atm). And another who was sold off to the military and had a physically abusive father, but now he's separated from his birth family and has a wife and children. And I could go on, but I think those are all the good ones.
Also idk if my younger characters are too young, but I had planned a little romance between a couple of them and I didn't want the age gap to be too much since he's an adult, and she's technically a minor by today's terms (but like 17 years old, so not that much of a minor)
Yeah I was wondering the same thing because Huxley is 19 and Fern is 17. But it's also a semi-dystopia so they're pretty mature for their ages.
Yeah, same exact age gap here actually. And also, it's a different time, different universe, and the younger one has had jobs and has been supporting herself for a good amount of time- plus it's strictly romantic for other reasons.
Damnn those are some interesting stories oh my gosh! Also what are their ages right now? i had to change one of my character's ages because they were way too far apart although it was still techinically legal
Also personally I think two years is fine. Plus, it's a different universe so itll be different laws anyways
Oh wow sorry i just got ur last message lmao yeah two years is good guys
Thank you!!! I usually don't talk much about my stories for fear of not making sense, so it's kind of reassuring to hear that.
Nah it makes sense :D
