@Painted-Iris-has-too-much-school The most likely god to Claim Lata would be
Ethal! Here's a quick rundown of the goddess:
Ethal is the goddess of Bloodlust and is often associated with the Grim Reaper, bloody murders, and mass destruction of human life in general.
In her personal life, Ethal is an abusive goddess to her adult souls, but still manages to have found family vibes with the children she takes in. They're often children who were part of a brutal murder in some fashion, whether being the victim of one, a witness to one, or the cause of one. She's more of a martini aunt to the children than an actual mother, but she does raise them to be her 'darling little murderers.'
Ethal would most likely take Lata right after she finished killing those she sought revenge on, and would find her to be a darling girl. She'd help Lata with her magical powers and she would quickly become the favorite child.

Bfjekdnd I love and hate this knowing Ethal some xD
ok but she’d be told she can practice darker magic on Shane change my mind

@starstrucklost The most likely god to Claim Melody would be
Celeste! Here's a quick rundown of the goddess:
Celeste is the goddess of the Stars and is often associated with astronomy and sea travel, as well as the patron to sailors and witches.
In her personal life, Celeste is a soft-spoken goddess who does what she loves most- taking care of 'stars,' or the souls of the recently dead as she knows them. Most of her time even outside of her work is spent with them, and a few of her own souls follow her around, giving the appearance that she has stars floating around her head.
Celeste would most likely take Melody after she has died, and while working with the souls she would find Melody very interesting and take her. Melody would most likely end up as one of the souls who hang around Celeste's head, just chilling and vibing with the goddess.

@cottagecore_ladybug The god most like to take Johan is
Brutus! Here's a quick rundown of the god:
Brutus is the god of War and is often associated with conflicts of any size or kind, from children during recess to massive, multinational (or world) wars.
In his private life, Brutus will often choose one side of a conflict to 'bless,' often Claiming the leader of this side's soul and actively participating through them. However, the side he 'blesses' does not automatically win- sometimes, Brutus will purposefully cause them to lose for various reasons.
Brutus would most likely take Johan while he is on leave from his duties as general with the offer of his soul for winning the war. He'd find it to be a good deal, and that if Johan did not take it Brutus would still Claim him, but with no guarantee his kingdom would win. He would be the one to give Johan instructions on what he is to do during the war, and would force him to do so if he tried to resist.

Ooh to be completely fair Johan probably would take the deal in a heartbeat lmaoo

Celeste would most likely take Celeste, well, once learning their was a half witch who shared a name with her. She doesn't see souls as toys, as some do, but sometimes she has a hard time remembering that yes, people feel things just like her, and no, just because someone is cool and has the same name as her it does not make it okay to take them. She'll feel bad when she does remember this, and would do her best to protect Celeste and give her a good life in her home.

the wholesomeness of this is
immaculate
I- this fits Celeste perfectly not gonna lie-

@Anxietyfilledcinnamonroll The most likely god to Claim Bane would be
Brutus! Here's a quick rundown of the god:
Brutus is the god of War and is often associated with conflicts of any size or kind, from children during recess to massive, multinational (or world) wars.

However, the side he 'blesses' does not automatically win- sometimes, Brutus will purposefully cause them to lose for various reasons.
Brutus would most likely take Bane during a conflict because he is a warrior and puts logic and reason ahead of emotions. The god himself is unable to feel most emotions, due to him being incomplete himself. This also means that Brutus would look into ways Bane could be fixed.
The way Brutus treats his souls is complicated. He does not see them as inferior to gods, but he does see himself in a position of authority over his own. He expects orders to be followed and will be demanding at times. He also has mock battles with his souls to help him develop new strategies, meaning many have died and been placed in newer bodies several times over. Bane would be used for his mock battles most of the time, and usually taking commands directly from Brutus while he is on the table battlefield.

Ah war. Bane’s only skill is basically fighting (For reasons, this is a joke). Hang in there buddy, Brutus could probably treat you better than your own father. I hope Brutus like a death dog whose ear will twitch every time he senses death. Nah, Bane could control his powers. Thank you for the-uhhhh-god claiming, Bane’s gonna like having a hobby to do :3

Brutus is probably going to end up favoring Bane a lot when it comes to the battles, he's going to really enjoy having himself a death dog lol

@trainwreck404 group

@trainwreck404 The most likely god to Claim Madeline would be
Derlik! Here's a quick rundown of the god:
Derlik is the god of Chaos and is considered to be the patron of sex workers, drug users, drunken partiers, and anyone who deviates from societal norms or considered to be an outcast.
In his personal life, Derlik takes 'be gay do crimes' quite literally. Murder, arson, and theft are all things he enjoys doing on the daily. His job is to keep the number of humans in the world in check, and he takes it quite seriously. Well, as seriously as he can. He likes to have fun with his job, after all.
Derlik would most likely take Madeline because he likes her style. For the most part, she'd be able to go back to her normal life with a new 'tattoo' of Derlik's mark on her neck, but on occasion, Derlik would take them back to his home with him to 'play,' aka either torture her or show her his living doll collection. He wouldn't like how loud they are, though, so eventually, he would turn her into a doll and add her to the collection.

he seems very snazzy, thank you so much

@Icefire The most likely god to Claim Aleksandar would be
Astral! Here's a quick rundown of the god:
Astral is the god of the Sun and is considered to be the most benevolent of gods by those who worship the Gods of Belcor, who is often associated with security and the family.
In his private life, Astral is the most brutal, manipulative, and sadistic of the gods. He enjoys torturing the souls he Claims, as well as the ones from his job. As part of the cycle of reincarnation, Astral receives souls that have gone five human/sentient and intelligent lifetimes without being Claimed by a god, which are deemed as 'unwanted souls,' and recycles them. He removes the parts of the soul that have been deemed desirable and grinds the rest into pulp to make new souls. This is all done while the soul is aware and very much screaming and in full view of the rest of the souls who are going to undergo recycling.
Astral would most likely take Aleksandar because he can appreciate a 'good guy' who has tortured and murdered people before. He'd make it a publicity stunt for himself, taking down someone he could frame as corrupt before taking his soul back with him to give his own brand of justice by torturing him for the rest of time. He is thankful that Aleksandar is hard to kill without the god's help.

@ElderGod-Icefire

D:
Of course it's Asstral idk why I expected anyone different lmao
Aleksandar isn't a bad dude tho! He's an anti-hero sksndhsv oh well
