Or the pool I guess, it doesn't matter.

My character would collect shells, and sit on the shore of the sea and whistle lullabies, whilst watching the sun set.

Ruby and Zach: fighting with water pistols because they're best friends who are both idiots and are scared of water
Sora: starts a game of beach volleyball, then gets annoyed when no one plays it right
Sam: totally dominating the volleyball court, he's not cheating, he's just tall enough to spike it into your face.
Ulissa: stays in the water the whole time because "sand burns her feet"
Allan: racing against Ulissa, and holding a diving contest
Columbine: taking care of Starson who "got bit by a shark, no lie"
Starson: after "getting bit by a shark" he stayed with Chenelle under the shade
Chenelle: nope. Her skin is way to pale for that, she's staying under the shade, with lots of sunscreen, sunglasses, and a big hat. She may look silly now, but you'll be the silly one when your burnt to a crisp.
Ivan: playing volleyball, but he doesn't understand the rules, and doesn't stand a chance against Sam.
Luna: sitting in the shade, with her ice cold lemonade, enjoying some piece and quiet.
Xavier and Bruce: finding huge fireworks that are totally legal.
Viva: to excited to excited to excited! She has to try everything!
Aariss: getting a nice tan, but also using lots of sunscreen because a pale complexion can be pretty. Is she indecisive? I dunno she hasn't decided yet.
Zephyr: my grumpy boy is just hanging out with his best (and maybe only) friend, Ferrin
Ferrin: he's just happy to be with Zephyr and Wisp hosting a luau with a whole pig!
Wisp: dancing around, putting up decorations.
Greysen: playing volleyball, he's on Ivan's team, he doesn't understand how they can be losing this bad.
Silivia: swimming. That's what your supposed to do at the beach. Right?
Dove: preparing for the luau, flower leis for everyone!
Micheal: building a sand castle big enough for someone to actually live in. Unfortunately it doesn't have a working kitchen.
Jenna: she's on Sam's team. She barely has to do anything.
Adam: educating Micheal on sandcastle architecture and completing the finishing touches on the door.
Fern: she's not there. Why isn't Fern here?

Jackson- He would probably go around, talking to strangers. He's a total social butterfly, and is always up to show magic tricks. So he'd probably be doing that for little kids there. He isn't one to just sit and relax, or surf the waves. He would also be the one to buy all the board-walk junk, just so the people who worked there would get paid.

Arla- Her beach day is typically the same every time. When she gets there, she sunblocks and tans until it's dry. After that, she'll go out into the water- maybe surf- until she has to come in to reapply. Then she would be done with the water, and get deeply invested in a sandcastle. You best believe she'll spend multiple hours on that sucker.

Quinn- Ahaha- no. Quinn hates the beach, and swimming. She would never go on purpose, and try to avoid it if the option was given. If she was forced to go to the beach, she would probably sit under an umbrella the whole time, ignoring everyone while reading a book the whole time.

Allison: tanning at first, then swimming
Azrael: swimming.
Vozreal: being the gay best friend to allison
Rachel: under the umbrella, being dark.

Chelsea: Planning on building the world's most elaborate sandcastle, then scuba diving, and at the end of the day, goes to a tide pool and observes the hermit crabs which she thinks are adorable
Theo: Working with Meryn on the design of the sandcastle, reading books under an umbrella with loads of sunscreen, collecting sand samples, water samples, and samples of aquatic vegetation to study later
Cody: Calling to clear the construction area and gathering supplies, afterward, playing beach volleyball with strangers and crushing them, tanning, also maybe surfing
Meryn: Helping measure everything, after the castle is done she goes swimming and collects seashells
Aysen: Standing on top of the sandcastle, yelling that he's the king of the world. Then goes scuba diving and he probably almost gets caught in a fishing net or something knowing his luck

Cass: Tanning, thinking he's better than everyone else and being a general moron. Also, he probably mentions that he's the chosen one at least once.
Teus: Chilling, collecting sea glass, swimming
Amaya: Getting as far from Cass as possible, chatting with Teus on walks along the beach, picking up hermit crabs and also crab crabs

Staff: Reading up on marine life in the area, going on a whale-watching cruise hoping to see dolphins or if she's lucky, a whale breach, wearing a full wetsuit
Hudson: Building a fairly large but not very good sandcastle. After jumping on top of it, she goes parasailing, which is something she's wanted to try for a while but hadn't gotten the opportunity to.
Cyrus: Listing off statistics on beach pollution, jellyfish stings, deaths of humans in the ocean due to predators and drowning, and constantly reminds everyone that the ocean is where all the crapola that humans and marine life excrete ends up. Also, occasionally finding a nice piece of sea glass and giving it to Bailey.
Bailey: Also building a sandcastle, something small but elaborate with lots of nice details. Probably gets destroyed by a wave though. She also collects a bunch of hermit crabs and puts them on top, and declares them the kings and queens of the palace.

Jake would take his daughter to the beach and make sandcastles and go snorkeling.

Kat would go drink some martini's

James would try to befriend sharks and fish.

Janice would cast spells giving her an instant tan.

Brooke would avoid the sun due to being a pasty vampire.

Berlin: Is down to clown, but not a very strong swimmer and not really a fan of crowds, so he'd probably stick to his friend group and only go where they go. Would probably get a sunburn despite his best efforts.
Fen: Would want to swim way farther from shore than he should, and would be constantly challenging his friends to a race along the beach. Eventually he'd see some little kids digging a hole in an attempt to reach the center of the earth and enthusiastically offer to join them.
Skipper: Would have an absolute BLAST running around in the shallows, physically fighting the ocean, hunting for crabs, chasing seagulls, and rolling in seaweed. He's a dog btw lol
Robin: Has probably been to the beach a million times and knows all the best places to hang out. Would go to tide pools and catch sea creatures with his bare hands to show off to his friends, then carefully put them back and declare war on all litter within a hundred yard radius.
Alan: Hates the beach and the searing heat and the creepy critters and the idea of swimming, but would resignedly accompany his friends because he enjoys hanging out with them. Would probably escape to the nearest patch of shade with a book as soon as he could politely get away with it.

Dove, to Xavier:Are those fireworks legal
Xavier:They were where we bought them.
Dove:You mean you didn't buy them in this country
Xavier:……..no
Dove:YOU SMUGGLED FIREWORKS ACROSS THE BORDER!!!!
Xavier: We didn't smuggle them we just put them in our suitcases. Nobody caught us.

Daniella: Pokes water tentatively.
Sam: Running around on the sand, dancing on the beach, swimming.
Alene: Digs a pit and fills it with little crabs so they will fight each other.
Josiah: Watches that or goes swimming or asks if anyone has a volley ball.
Silas: Perches on rock uncomfortably.
Orion: Surfing.
Kym: Basking in all the guys and girls staring at her because she knows she looks sexy as hell. Might go surfing.
Octavia: Mutters something about setting a perimeter before swimming laps.
Rune: Like Silas.
Nathaniel: The only one who thought of bringing a book. Might play volley ball with Josiah.

Talrius: Sitting in the shade, writing down what he observes.
Issalok: Slowly building a sandcastle around Talrius.
Elish: Collecting random cool things on the beach. Also picking fights with the birds.
Annai: Playing in the water before "monkey see, monkey do" kicks in and starts harassing the wildlife with Elish.
Niserie: Peacefully flying a kite nearby before having to yell at Elish and Annai to leave the birds alone. With her attention elsewhere, her kite crashes down, right into Talrius and Issalok.

Marcelyn: Has on five layers of sunscreen but is sitting under her umbrella watching everyone else.
Ryong: Is laying on Marcie while reading "This Side of Paradise" before going out to surf.
Kwangho: Tries to make a sand castle that looks like the castle from Disney World.
Bonnie: She just sits near her brother making sure that no one destroys the sand castle. Bonnie also managed to become the leader of a group of tiny crabs.
Mister Jun: Runs around the beach trying to find the prettiest sea shells for/to impress Haneul then ends up finding sea shells for everyone. When they go home, everyone has 120 sea shells, each.
Beomseok: Tries to fly a kite but the string flew from his hand and then the kite flew over into the sea. He ended up helping Kwangho with the sandcastle.
Haneul: Spends half of the time running away from seagulls and tiny crabs or getting sea shells from Jun. She makes everyone play volleyball with her before they have their picnic.

Azami: Will try, and succeed, to make the best sand castle, then eat watermelon. She might try to go out on a raft, fall off, and because she can't swim, will be saved by one of her crewmates.
Jax: She'll go swimming. A lot of swimming, then she'll get tired and fall asleep on somebody, most likely her captain, who won't move because Jax is too small and cute to disturb.
Tori: Tori'll just disappear in the water all day, unless her friends need her for something, in which case, she'll be doing that.
Peregrine: If she shows up to the beach at all, she'll just read under an umbrella.

Tommy: Tommy loves the beach and would have a great time. He'd go swimming, play volleyball, and look for crabs and other creatures. He'd also hang out with the kids and help them make sand castles.
Nick: Nick wouldn't even want to go to the beach. He hates heat and swimming and being in a swim suit/summer clothes. However, if he was forced to go, he'd spend his time under an umbrella reading a book and trying not to get burnt.
Julia: Julia would spend her time between swimming and playing volleyball with Tommy and tanning. She'd also stay under the umbrella and talk with Nick for a bit.

Colby: Basking in the sun, sipping on some whiskey (regardless the time of day).
Duxe: Collecting drift wood and sticks to dry out in the sun for a bonfire later.
Tyler & Catiline: Chasing each other around trying to "drown" each other (they are children of the water god and are unable to actually drown).
Hunter: Either poking sea life that washed up on shore with a stick like a child, or building a very amateur sand castle…like a child.
Kandy: Burying herself in the sand cause no one wanted to help her (cause they all knew she would want out immediately after she was completely buried). She'll also scream and run away if a crab gets to close.

Sparta: Flicking sand around, and cleaning his wings. Also has a long stick next to him to fend off seagulls.
Willow: Definitely brought a canvas and paints and started to paint her surroundings.
Michael: Creeping up behind Sparta with a bucket of water, ready to dump it over his head and ruin his perfectly cleaned wings.
Felix: Swimming, collecting shells to send to her older brother, and scuba diving. Definatly brought a lot of food and ate it all herself.
Sebastian & Esteban: Surfing, without a doubt. All day. No sunscreen. Gonna be a little crispy by the end of they day, but totally worth it.
Trap: Sitting on the shore, listening to Chicago bound through the water scaring all the sea life. Also, consistantly reapplying sunscreen and munching on chips, ice cream, and watermelon.
Chicago: Bounding through the water, drinking the salty seawater thinking it tastes good, and rolling in the sand like the derpy golden retriever she is.
Yato: Being a total dork and attempting a variety of different flips into the water.
Phoenix: Laughing at Yato's failures while sitting on a floaty, sippin' his iced tea.

August: wades through the water most of the time (trying to catch crabs or creatures to release on Miko and Buff)
Miko: yells at August half the time, but also is responsible and makes sure August doesn't burn or drown
Buff: sits with a beer or a smoke under the umbrella, seemingly angry about being dragged to the beach (but he actually kinda loves it)
Red: has made many deep holes in the sand with their feet as they sat on a towel, eating and tanning

Logan: constantly tries to push down and splash Malik. whips him with her wet hair and chases the seagulls.
Malik: shivers the whole time from the water but really doesn't mind. he would be the one to bring mountains of junk food.
Jordan: the responsible one. makes sure everybody stays hydrated and makes them put on sun spray. though he probably has built a little sandcastle as well
Hailey: brings a speaker and annoys everyone with her music. also brings books but doesnt read them, instead she just falls asleep on the sand.
Luka: doesn't go.

Daphne: sticks her foot in the ocean water, shivers then goes back to her towel. reads and drinks a smoothie

kacey: plays volleyball and badminton, dances and plays in the water or makes sand castles with karuko
nabila: stays under the shade with a good book
karuko: brings a speaker and annoys everyone with super-loud music, lays face-down in the water or kicks little kids' sandcastles

Ren: Sits in the shade reading a book
Himari: Always gets sunburned in the first 5 minutes but still runs around with Chan
Chan: Sprays everyone with water guns while cackling
Zephyr: Talks to the fish and clams
Elyas: Collects shells, finds a lot of sand dollars

Probably drown

For various reasons: the only one I can imagine not trying to be the lifeguard (even if they weren't officially working as such) is Brandee. If it was actually the beach, she would bring a custom jet ski—on a trailer behind her ridiculously huge vehicle—to show it off.

Oh: and on the matter of lifeguarding? It's kind of ridiculous how many levels on which that suits Kieron. (If he wasn't slowed down by how much barbecue he'd inevitably be stowing away, that is; boy has an appetite more than proportionate to his size.)
