@RoseWrites

Rose picks up the present and opens it with wide, curious eyes. She squeals excitedly and picks up the blade.

"Ooh, a knife!"

She swipes the blade across the space in front of her, making silly "whoosh" noises as she does so. With a small giggle, she pockets the blade and replaces the empty box with a card she made herself.

The card inside reads "You're pretty :)"

(XD dont hate me)

@Becfromthedead group

Felix picks up the card and opens it. He tries to hide the smile that's eminent on his lips.
"You're pretty… Well, I sure don't get that a lot…" he mutters to himself.
He pockets the note and the smile breaks free. It was only a little something, but it made his day.
Felix takes a deep red cloak from his bag, which is carefully embroidered with little gold designs along the edges. He made it himself and is happy to pass it on to someone who may value it more.

@SupernaturalSyGuyIsTIred group

Lux grabbed the beautifully crafted cloak. He stands up, and clasps it onto himself. A smile comes across his face.
"This is simply exquisite! Thank you!"

He produces a set of fine china, and gingerly passes the set off. Light refracts in tiny pin points off of the stained glass, sending different colors about.
"These came from my family. I no longer have use for them. Please treat them with care!" he pleads.
Along with the china came a note written in ornate cruciform.
'The goblets, when filled, will become the drinkers favorite beverage.'

@Oakiin

Scott smiles with pleasure. She'd been looking for a china set to adorn her cupboard, and these are stunning. She gingerly picks them up, admiring them and reading the two notes before silently vowing to protect them with her life. She knows her wife will love these, and provided the door stays shut, they'll be safe from the cats as well. What a perfect gift, she couldn't have picked better herself.

She sets down her entirely non-magical gift, willing it to do some good for someone. A ruler-straight wrapped parcel of silver wrapping paper contains a detailed planner, three suits of black, silver and blue respectively, and a pen that writes so smoothly you feel as though you're writing on air. The suits are perfectly pressed, and will almost never wrinkle, and the planner is equipped with self-development tools as well as scheduling ideas.

@RaysofSun

Logan picks up the parcel and unwraps it. Perfect, he thinks. Lucy always said I need to be more organised. And the last time she saw me in a suit she went as red as a tomato and stared at me the entire night. He flushes slightly and smiles, lost in the memory.

He cautiously hands his gift to the next person, wondering what they'll think of it. It's a snow globe.
Inside are three evergreen trees that are intricately carved with sparkly snow glistening on the peaks. The trees provide the perfect backdrop for a small, red-brick cottage nestled in the snow. It's not bursting to the brim with magic or anything, but Logan knows that it will provide the user with their fondest Christmas memory. And that's where the magic of Christmas comes into its own.

@Rainy_is_back

Mal took it gratefully with a grin. She slowly unwrapped the gift, and got all giddy. 'It's so pretty!' She told herself giving a large smile to the previous giver. She loved the beautiful thing a lot, and was so excited over it.

She set aside her gift, and picked up a rather small box. Within the wrapping paper sat a small box made of glass. The clear walls showed it's contents with a shimmer. It held small diamond like stones of many colors. The glittering stones were mostly decoration, but she thought them pretty deciding it was a good gift. She handed over the frosted glass wrapped box, her eyes wide with anticipation.

@TakeToTheStars

Death looked at the small box in the wrapping paper. He turned it around and around. I mean, it's a pretty bo- The wrapping paper tore a little bit. "Crap," he said, "I just ruined the gosh darn thing. Might as well take all the broken off." He tore the remaining wrapping paper off and found a beautiful glass with little crystal stones shimmering many colors. He admired it in awe for a few seconds, then took off his cloak and carefully wrapped it over the box.

He himself placed a large box down. In it, a liquid soul that Life couldn't purify, it shining so many pretty colors, and some golden necklaces he snagged from That One Guy after he tried to give every reaper one. He only 10 of them, but they made the wearer more eye-catching. No need for reapers to have such things.

@Torpion language

Kimber gently opened the package, eyes wide with anticipation. Everybody's gifts were so cool! What could be inside this one?

When she saw the liquid soul, her breath caught in her throat. "Oh, it's so beautiful," She breathed, wonderstruck. She picked one of the necklaces from the box and examined the pendant. The gold glinted in the light, dazzling her. She felt unworthy to wear it- Like a peasant wearing a crown. But she grinned anyway, resolving to give the rest of the necklaces to her friends. Would they think it's dumb to have matching necklaces? Would it be rude to give Death's gifts away? The shy girl didn't offend anyone.

Her own gift was a simple, wool-lined crimson coat with lots of pockets. She always appreciated pockets. It felt boring in comparison to the shimmering colors of the soul she'd received, but she hoped that the next person would like it. She passed her box to the next person, twisting her hands together nervously as she watched them take it. Would they even like such a simple gift? She should have gotten something cooler.

@CopperQueen

Lino took the box carefully. He wasn't used to receiving gifts, except from Nathaniel, so this was kind of fun.
He opened the box and looked at the coat. To him, it looked really fancy.
He spun it in his hands feeling the soft fabric. It was really pretty… He didn't really have anything like this.
He giggled as he put it on to try it and set down his gift.
A lazily wrapped voodoo doll that appeared to glow if you looked really closely. The heart appeared to be spun by real gold and the eyes were with mismatched buttons. there was a needle and a thread beside it as if it was meant to be finished by the receiver.
He rushed off before he would be forced to explain, smiling to himself.

@RaysofSun

Mars chuckled as she received the gift. "Dad, I guess this is for you, you bloody bastard."
"Mars," he mother said from beside her, laughing.
"You can help!"
She shook her head, still smiling. "Just pass on your gift, would you?"

Mars hands over a large box to the next person. Inside contained four smaller, labelled boxes. They read: 'Remedies', 'Poisons', 'Cooking Potions My Mother Swears By', and 'Experimental'. Inside each box lay several small mason jars with labels describing their contents and how to use them. It's a bit of an odd gift, Mars thought. But hopefully the recipient is a bit… adventurous.

@HighPockets group

Robin takes the box.
"Ooh, spices!" They squeal, and open the one label "Experimental". They attempt to taste it, but Oberon swats there hand away.
"Do not eat that," he scolds them, and Robin huffs. They hand their gift to the next person: a small box that buzzes and smells slightly of honey, most likely filled with bees.

@Starfast group

Milo takes the box and gently sets it aside. He can hear the buzzing and he can pick up on the faint scent of honey. He's able to put two and two together, and he's not about to send a hoard of bees on himself. "Thank you so very much," he says. It comes out sounding a little sarcastic, but he does genuinely mean it. After all, he can think up of a long list of people who deserve do have a box of bees delivered to them. He wonders briefly if they would survive being shipped out to the Arribean royal palace. Perhaps they might…

Milo puts his gift in a small, velvet bag. Inside is a necklace– a single wooden bead that he carved himself on a simple silver chain. It certainly isn't as nice as the one that he wears around his own neck, but the necklace is part of a long standing tradition in his home country. The bead represents an act of courage, so he hopes that the next person wears it well. After all, they don't give these to just anyone.

@Young-Dusty-the-Monarch-of-Dusteria group

Tide takes the bag and turns it over in his hands before opening it and pouring out the contents in his palm. The necklace puzzles him at first, because jewelry isn't something his race puts much value in. But once he understands the significance of the little wooden bead, he remembers the time he tore open the nets of a fisherman to rescue a sea turtle, almost getting tangled as well in the process. He carefully puts the necklace on, giving a slight, rare smile.
His gift is a bracelet he made out of twine, strung with pearls and sea-glass beads. He collected all the items from the ocean himself, and had been saving it to give to someone special. Now, he decides, is as good a time as any. He doesn't have anything to wrap it with, so he tucks it into an old jar he found washed up on the beach. He hopes whoever receives it will think of the sea when they wear it.

@Becfromthedead group

Ignis picks up the bracelet and smiles softly. It reminds them of their home in Pontus, fishing with their father, talking to the wyrms that made their home in the seas. They wonder who had managed to find such precious jewels of the sea, but they figure it's best left a mystery.
Ignis pulls out a book, which is lined with reptilian scales of various colors on its cover. Inside, it has a wonderful tale of people who coexist with dragons, their knightly exploits, and many other stories within. They pause for a second and make sure to scrawl out a note.
No dragons were harmed in the making of this book. They shed scales naturally, and these were used for the cover.

@Oakiin

Bridger steps forward a little nervously. He doesn't like being the center of attention much, but he knows it would bring more attention to hang back.
His nerves are instantly forgotten by the time he reaches the book. His jaw drops at its beauty, and he picks it up with wonder. He knows someone who would enjoy this book, not that he himself wouldn't. He is already in love.
He looks back down at his own offering, and feels both embarrassment at its humble nature and sadness at giving it up. But he's made his decision, and something tells him it's time to pass it on.
A cow skull is set amongst the presents, small wire flowers of blue, white and black woven through the bone and a tangle of tiny white lights through those giving the bone an odd and almost eerie sense of life being reclaimed by nature. The skull stares out ot the room almost scentiently, waiting for it's new owner.

@HighPockets group

Jackson picks up the skull.
"Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite jest and most excellent fancy!" He announces to Geneva.
"It's a cow skull, not a human one. Still pretty badass though."
Jackson sets down his present: a pair of tickets to whatever show the next person wants to see.

@ImNotCrazyImAFangirl

(i think i already did kirin but i haven't been on notebook in awhile, so)

Kirin ran his fingers across the tickets lightly, watching the black ink swirl. Nimue would like them, no doubt. She'd been wanting to go see the court play, but they hadn't been able to afford tickets. This would be a lovely surprise for her. He carefully considered what to pass onto the next person, eventually settling on a small glass marble infused with a bit of his mental magic, with carefully written instructions on how to use it. Hopefully the next person wouldn't use the mind reading powers for bad - and if they did, well. It only lasted a week or so anyways.

@Becfromthedead group

Pollux picks up the marble and rolls it between his fingers. At first, he admires its subtle shine and its perfectly smooth texture. Then, his mind clouds over with something he's never felt before. As he realizes what's happening, he sits more upright, his eyes widening.
This could help immensely with some of my research!
He slipped the glass marble into a small pouch and tucked it somewhere safe, then sifted through his bag. He didn't really have a ton to give back, but he did have a stockpile of herbs, some of which made excellent medicinal teas. He sorted out the dried leaves and flowers into pouches and labelled them accordingly with what they were and what effects they had. Hopefully whoever got them would appreciate the thought.
