Oh this is so fun!! Mine are:
- Wanda Maximoff from Marvel Comics (specifically the comic version, not the MCU's awful, racist whitewashed version). I've loved her since I was really young, and as a person who's had a lot of difficulty pinning their personality & identity down, getting to know her character was a huge moment of clarity, because I see so much of myself in her.
- Jules Vaughn from Euphoria. I am in love with Hunter Schafer, and also Euphoria was yet another major turning point in the way I think of and present myself as a person. Jules was always my favourite, and especially now, after the most recent episode, I see a lot of my own troubles and thoughts in her as well.
- Draculaura from Monster High!! I had like 10 of her dolls as a kid, she was always my favourite. I basically am her at this point
My comfort character would probably be 孙悟空/Sun Wukong/Monkey King.
He was part of my childhood and I loved watching the cartoons. I also learned a lot of Chinese from a simplified version of Journey to the West.
He can be annoying and sometimes downright villainous, but I still enjoy his antics. :)

Tony Stark (MCU) - Sassy dad I never had. He's a really fun character and kind of a mess and, on an oddly specific note, I relate to him in that I also have had major heart surgery/trauma. I'm really into Irondad and Spiderson, and Pepperony.
Loki (MCU) - I adore my tiny chaos incarnate. I love his sense of humor and his vibe in Ragnarok especially is golden. I can also relate to feeling like an outcast within my own home so… honestly I just wanna hug him. Plus, I'm partial to the actual Norse mythology.
Merlin (BBC Merlin) - An awkward child who's trying his best to protecc his king. He's funny and sassy and tiny and I love the way he interacts with every other character on the show.
Adora (She-Ra) - BIG DUMB LESBIAN JUST LIKE ME. She's just trying to navigate her new life while managing a huge crush on her childhood friend/rival and I respect the hell out of that.
Scorpia (She-Ra) - CINNAMON ROLL. She just tries so hard to be lovable. (Also, I have a massive crush on her)
Hotaru Tomoe (Sailor Moon) - Again, multiple surgeries and insecurities about a scar-covered body? Same. I can absolutely relate to her insecurities and watching her come out of her shell to Chibiusa was so wonderful for 10-year-old me, fresh out of surgery #11.

Gladion (Pokémon S/M): Okay, okay, I know, a lot of people don’t like him, but he just fills be with an inexplicable happiness for some reason. I love everything about him. The plot of S/M, his character, his personality, just… literally everything, he’s just a random edgy dude on the surface but if you really look at him he’s seriously amazing, I swear. (Keep in mind that the version of him that I like is the one from Sun and Moon, not Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. USUM goofed up his story a lot and overall his character arc in the originals was a lot better.)
N (Pokémon B/W/B2/W2): Yeah, I’ve never played the Unova games, but… somehow I just really like him already. I’ve always wanted to play one or two of the four (preferably Black and Black 2). I already know most of the plot of both games, since literally every Nuzlocke comic I’ve read is set in Unova, but still, there’s just something about N that I really like. He’s a ✨fascinating✨ character and villain, his motives are really interesting, I love his personality, and in general his backstory is amazing, as is the rest of the plot of BW/B2W2. Also, his battle theme is awesome. (Not as good as Gladion’s though, the way they did that one was ingenious. I mean, they incorporated Run Away, Fugitives AND the Aether theme into that boy’s song, no way you can get leitmotifs from those two songs and have the finished product NOT be outstanding.)

cotton (star): she's trans and like- representation, but also i relate to her a lot. she's got caught up in toxic relationships and doesn't know how to get out or cope.
simone (star): again, i relate to her. she likes girls, so are of relatableness, plus she struggles with substance abuse, again, relateable (unfortunately) so yeah. she's also beautiful but that's irrelevant
spike (cowboy bebop): he reminds me why i hate men sometimes, but he's also so loveable. love hate relationship, but his voice comforts me (if y'all hate on me for watching dubbed anime- istg)
ed (cowboy bebop): she's so so smart, and the fact that she's so young is just- i dunno, it's endearing. she's so hyper and fun-loving, she cheers me up. (also ein, if anyone watches this show)
