willow park (the owl house): she's an angel!! she's smart, kind, caring nd cares for her friends so much
ferb fletcher (phineas and ferb): he just lights up my day and our personalities are so alike

Haru Ichinose (Akuma no riddle) This girl is a real trooper, A bunch of assassins are trying to kill her, her parents got killed and she still retains her optimism and even becomes a little stronger

Hyun Lee (Devil temptation) I just read a few chapters, I can tell you I love this angry little coffee-loving bean

The comfort character that's at the the top of my list is probably Akaashi Keiji or Suna Rintarou

Sherlock: (Basically everything, but especially the Netflix series) He's a smart boi and literally so smart ass and quick witted, he has made me laugh countless times, hi, Benedict Cumberbatch, I love you.

Thomas Jefferson: (Hamilton the musical) "What did I miss" boosts my serotonin levels so much, I need it. He's so cocky and like stands up to Hamilton who, even though I love, does need a reality check every once in awhile.

Esdeath: (Akame Ga Kill): She's a terrifying psychopath, but also craves love, so I relate.

Twilight Sparkle: (My Little Pony) I have NO shame, yes I still watch My Little Pony, it calms me down, sue me. Twilight is just so awesome, she's smart and loves books but is also very caring and focused on her friends. If I was a pony- I'd be her. But this entire show basically comforts me. Also Princess Celestia.

Sam Winchester: (Supernatural) He's a big ol' moose baby. Definitely huggable but also- idlethimdoterriblethingstome ANYWAYS he's smart and funny and handsome, and on top of that HE SLAYS DEMONS how could you not love him. His voice just soothes me.

Jeremy Gilbert: (The Vampire Diaries) He's so- he's so cute. And surprisingly brave for a human. He takes risks for the people he loves and doesn't give up on them

Alex Danvers: (Supergirl) She's so brave! She's a total badass and a queer I C O N how could you not love her?

Winn Schott: (Supergirl): I- I cried so hard when he left the show. As a Jeremy Jordan stan, I was absolutely devastated. He's so sweet and he's such a simp for Kara. I have a soft spot for nerdy tech guys leave me alone.

Caitlyn Snow/Killer Frost: (The Flash) Emotionally damaged (as most of my comfort characters are) but strong willed nonetheless and loyal. Not to mention smart, independent, and beautiful. One of my idols.

Malcolm Bright: (Prodigal Son) He's kinda like Sherlock, except he's American and his dad is a serial killer. And he's a lot more- uhm- mentally unstable. Relatable=comfort for me so that's why I love him :3

Selina Kyle: (Gotham) if you can't tell, I'm obsessed with superhero shows, and even more obsessed with badass woman. She's a highly skilled killer but also has her little romance with Bruce and it melts my heart. He's also a comfort character for me, I love that show so much. Again, the whole show is kinda a comfort show for me.

Castiel (Supernatural): He's just a protective angel boy. Some of his best moments are when he's confused about human life. He's unintentionally funny. He's just an adorable boy in a trench coat. He somewhat acts like an exhausted parent and his moments with Dean are the best. Idk what more to say, but plenty of Cass moments cheer me up and he's just a goofball.

10th doctor (Doctor who): Yes, I do watch this show. The 10th doctor is a bit cocky during the series, it's funny tho. Even though, he's self-aware that he's a bit rude and tries to change that. He has some amazing quotes and heartfelt moments. He puts himself in danger for his friends and taught me some wonderful lessons. I was sad when he regenerated.

Percy Jackson (PJO and HoO): He will always be my boy. He's the only book character who would make me laugh when I was having a tough day. He learned so much and managed to keep his same goofball personality. He was and still is my childhood. He's brave and loyal. He's been through so much and still keeps on moving.

Monster (Friday Night Funkin'): I know that he's a terrifying, toothy lemon demon who threatens to eat Boyfriend.xml twice but I literally do not care. He has a soothing voice, both his songs slap, and also I'm a monsterfucker.
Cecil Palmer (Welcome to Night Vale): He's a gay cryptic radio host. Nothing else needs to be said. Oh, and did I mention that he has a STUNNING voice? That seems to be a reoccurring trend.
ENA: I kin her. That's it. Also, I'm back on my bullshit of obsessing over character's voices, and I absolutely adore Happy's voice.
Lup (The Adventure Zone): There are four things I love in life: Fire, LGBTQ+ representation, badass women who could kill me without breaking a sweat, and elves.
Remus Lupin (Harry Potter): I blame my daddy issues for my obsession with werewolves and this man was the bridge connecting the two.
Pyro (TF2): This is my one comfort character that I just… can't explain??? I don't know why I like him so much, I just do??? We'll just say it's because of The Vibes.

I have more, but I only felt like mentioning one character per fandom (the list for TAZ is LONG), and I didn't mention any anime characters. Also, I'm super happy seeing so many podcast fans here!!! I rarely see other fans of WTNV, TAZ, or TPP out in the wild!
