The name doesn't have to fit the personality or looks, especially since a person's parents don't know those things ahead of time when they name them. I also believe that if a character is awesome, even an ugly name will suddenly seem awesome, too. I decided to test this out by naming a main character of mine "Phyllis" (I hated that name), and just writing about her and growing attached to her made me like the name! And it fit her just because it wss her name. Naming is simpler than you think, I beliiieeeeeve in you.
