I want to start creating art digitally, but I have no idea what to do or where to go. Does anyone have some good sites to “art” or any tips to make it easier? I’m used to traditional art

For an app on your phone/tablet, I'd recommend Ibis Paint X. It holds tons of features without needing to pay, and you can access all the brush options for 18 hours by watching one ad. It's been super useful for me and I've shown all my friends the app.

For computer, I'd recommend Krita, but unfortunately I have not used it enough to tell you more. I do know enough that when I installed it and tried it, I was happy with it enough to keep it. (I had gone through a few apps before landing on Krita)

If you need more advice on digital drawing, I can help you with that. (ie. layers, adjusting, using effects, and other stuff to help you use the app to it's full potential.)

well it depends if you are drawing on a drawing tablet paint tool sai is the best my opinion but if you are using a regular tablet then in android you can use Ibis paint or Autodesk Sketchbook they are both free and for me Autodesk is easier to learn than Ibis paint but they are both great and for apple the best one is Procreate it costs $10.00 but it is really good "I think, I haven't tried before but I doesn't look that hard to manipulate or just learn something about it". but yeah this is just my opinion.

I started digital art about a year ago and it's hard. don't get me wrong, totally fun and worth it but it is the weirdest feeling draw on a tablet or screen instead of paper.

I started using a free art program called FireAlpaca and I bought a little $20 drawing tablet on Amazon that was great for a beginner. If you don't want to buy a tablet or anything you can try art with a mouse but it tends to be a little harder. I personally don't like drawing on an Ipad so I don't know anything about that.

I hope some part of that helps and I wish you luck! let me know if I can help with anything!

My favorite thing is drawing digitally for a long time and then returning to traditional art,,,,,,and you try to zoom in on the paper,,,,,,,or Undo instead of erase,,,,:') good stuff

If you end up using krita, I have a few tips, press e for ereaser, v to draw a straight line, hold shift and move your mouse to make change the brush size, use / to switch between two brushes (it switches to the brush you have before) and you can go into settings, then themes, if you want the UI to look darker or lighther, press control m for curvers and control u for color adjusment, also, hold control and click to pick a color
