She definitely likes astronomy a lot, she was one of those kids who really wanted to be an astronaut for a while but got her dreams crushed by maths, so the it's mostly for the aesthetic now. The old-fashioned style is mostly because she would've looked like that in the early 90s, but she would probably dress the same if she was a teenager in 2020. She is indeed very sharp and witty, and she actually grew up to be a lawyer so she definitely likes to debate. She is always well dressed and she can get serious when she needs to but I think she is way less serious than she looks. Her name is actually Nancy so I guess you got the old-fashioned name right and I can see her as a Regina (Martha not so much but I think that's a me problem)

The guy's name is Tobias, he's only 30, and his closest friend, Viola Mae is on the left. ^^ He's actually in love with her, but doesn't think he deserves to be loved and feels like she deserves better than him. You were really accurate for the most part! I'm actually still undecisive about his name, but I'm considering Joshua, so the obvious nickname part is correct. He does enjoy the odd prank and is a bit mischievous. If it was a modern au, he would be like that about schoolwork. :)

I kind of see him a someone who gets pushed around quite a bit, and has a hard time standing up for himself. But I also get the feeling that loves to read, and is also really intelligent.
