So I have a character I've had in the works for an awfully long time named Jesse. He's nearly finished, but I'm still not sure he's completely up to par. Anyone want to give him a look? (Side note, this story takes place in a post-apocalyptic world hundreds of years after total nuclear annihilation. It's just something you'll want to take into consideration if you decide to review him.)

How i do mine with short answers like for motivation: Grief, Shame, Revenge, Love, etc. I don't go as in depth but idk if I should. I'm dumb so I keep it short and easy to understand. I find writing it out on paper with a pen makes it easier to stay on task and I have 42 plot points and you number them so you know what order they go in. Keeps me focused. :) just a tip

It's so detailed! I love it. Jesse sounds like an interesting character with a lot of possible directions to take him. He reminds me a little of Kelsier from Mistborn… well, if you dropped him into a John Steinbeck novel and John Steinbeck wrote Speculative Fiction.
@JuniperJoan Oh gosh, those are high praises! I'm so glad you loved him, Jesse's been a bit of a passion project for the last year and I've enjoyed the ride exponentially.
So I like that you thought of everything when designing Jesse because you even have his jobs, politics and not like other writers that just go like "yeah they have a job but I don't know anything about it" but this was so exciting to read and even its favorite color describes him. Anyway I just love how much background information and just so relatable stuff this character of yours has, hope you make more OC's
@Oliver_ Thank you! I've really worked so hard to try and make sure he's an interesting and well rounded character, so it's so reassuring to hear that you really enjoyed him. I do plan on creating more characters in the future as Jesse's story evolves, so stay tuned if you're interested! ^^
