I'm creating my character and I realized that she served more than one purpose in my story. Should I give her more than one role?

No, I don't feel you should give her more than one role because If you do then it would be harder to map out but If you do give her two roles then you have to make sure that you do both roles when it's need.
I disagree with Knight here. I have a couple of characters that have more than one role, and I haven't found it hard for me to map the story out. If you think you can find a way to include all of her roles in a story (or roleplay), and that mapping things out isn't going to be difficult for you, then sure go ahead!
@Laffy-Taffy-is-waiting-for-Splatoon-3 You trying to fight me my sister XD
Oh, no, not at all, dear Knight. Just a different point of view is all.
I know, im playing
I knew that.
@Stroylia-Knight @Laffy-Taffy-is-waiting-for-Splatoon-3 Thank you both for your responses! I'll keep them in mind
You're welcome!
Sometimes it can work out well (for example, introducing the movie version of Arwen earlier by combining her as love interest of Aragorn plus rescuer of Frodo role; and arguably, giving Daroga's roles to Madame Giry in the musical version of The Phantom of the Opera).
Other times it doesn't work well (combining Annabeth with Clarisse?? Why, movie, why?!??)
