Parvus: comes back from wandering in the forest and trots up to Tseth with a dead rat in its mouth

Naveil: stands up "Actually… I'm going to go build myself a thatch shelter. If we're all going to stay in the forest, I might as well have someplace to sleep. I might even make you one- but it might not be big enough."
He chuckles, and starts to walk away. Before leaving, he turns back toward Nathaniel.
"I'll come find you once I'm finished. Shouldn't take too long with all of… this." He gestures vaguely at the entire forest.
"Think about what I said- it's probably the smartest thing I've said ever. Put that on my gravestone, and I'd be one happy spirit."

(Totally didn't forget to respond 😅)

Nathaniel: "Have fun building a home. You may or may not find me, depending on where I go." He's off finding more flowers. He finds a patch of wild lilies, picking them and tucking them being his ears. Nathaniel thinks about Naveil's words, pushing them to the side while he gathers more flowers.

Tseth: looks down at the rat, and then at Parvus. His wings shift back at the sight of the dead rat. “Ah.. thanks. You can keep it. I don’t really have a taste for rats.”

Alex: Looks over Tseth at Parvus and the dead rat “I’m curious on how he killed something almost as big as himself.”

Parvus: chitters stubbornly at Tseth and proceeds to climb up to his shoulder, still holding the dead rat

Tseth: mildly disgusted as rat blood drips onto his clothing “Parvus, I do appreciate this, but I do not want the rat.” Please do not drop the rat on me you little winged lizard-

Alex: holding back a laugh as he watches this

Parvus: lashes it’s tail and drops the dead rat on Tseth’s head

Tseth: quickly takes the rat off of his head and throws it on the ground “Agh- Seriously?” He runs a hand through his hair to make sure there was no blood in it, and sighs.

Alex: laughs “The little ankle-biter certainly has a personality.”

Tseth: He spares a quick glare at Alex “Laugh all you want, I don’t think it would be so humorous to you if you got the dead rat on your head”

Parvus: offended squeak
Resh: dies laughing from his corner
Juni: was asleep leaning against Resh but now awake “what..?”
Parvus: nips at Tseth’s ear again

Tseth: To Parvus “Listen I don’t care if I haven’t eaten anything I am not eating a rat- and if you keep nipping my ear you aren’t allowed on my shoulder.” He looks over at Resh and Juni “The lizard is being a little shit-“

Alex: Ahah you what now

Parvus: offended squeak again as it climbs up into Tseth’s head and curls up there
Resh: “I can see that-“
Juni: blinks a few times and rests her head against Resh’s chest again, clearly annoyed at being woken up

(Resh and Juni are both sitting in a corner-ish looking area btw)

Tseth: mildly annoyed at Parvus’s choice of rest, but doesn’t bother to move him.
Alex: Looks at Tseth with concern “You need to eat something, Tseth. It’s been a few days that you’ve been in here.”
Tseth: Sighs and looks back at Alex “You haven’t eaten anything either. Besides, I’m fine. I’ve been through worse, you know.”
Alex: “…I know, but that doesn’t mean you need to neglect yourself.” He sighs, and looks back out into the forest.

Parvus: stares at the dead rat on the ground, fluttering its wings slightly
Resh: “Well, there’s got to be something here that’s edible. It’s a whole forest, for Megabird’s sake-“
Juni: stands up and stretches her wings, giving up on trying to fall back asleep, and looks at Resh “If we do find something and you don’t eat anything, I’ll personally shove it down your throat.”
Resh: “Well, hello there.”
Parvus: jumps off of Tseth’s head and scuttles back into the forest

Tseth: Looks over in the direction Parvus ran off in, and then looks over at Resh and Juni “Well, maybe a few of us should go out and look for something. And enough of it, so Resh doesn’t have to get anything shoved down his throat.”

Resh: shrugs “She can try, but she won’t succeed. I’ll be fine.”
Juni: “Resh, don’t you dare-“
Resh: rolls his eyes

Alex: “I agree with Juni on this. If we are going to look for food, we’re also going to make sure everyone gets to eat something.” He stands up “In a forest like this, there’s probably some large-enough creatures.”

Juni: “Finally, someone with a brain.”
Resh: dramatic gasp “Rude-”

Tseth: chuckles “I wouldn’t say that too quickly, Juni. But he does have a point.” Now, who’s actually going to be in the group is another problem.

Resh: “She likes to jump to conclusions.”
Juni: “I do not-”

Alex: Rude- “So, are there any volunteers to go out there? Count me in.”

Tseth: Stands up “Sounds fun. Maybe we’ll run into another ‘forest guardian.’”
