Tseth: He looks up into the canopy of trees. He shifts his wings uncomfortably, as they’re pinned between him and the tree he’s tied to.
Alex: His eyes dart around at every movement in the forest. Too much wildlife to tell if it was anything else.
Salmook: smiles a little at Resh, tucking the rocks back away. "I know, I know."
he looks over at Alex, and his smile fades a little "Did… did you see something?"
Tseth: He looks up into the canopy of trees. He shifts his wings uncomfortably, as they’re pinned between him and the tree he’s tied to.
As Tseth looks up into the trees, a small shape can be seen darting through them.
Parvus: He hops into the tree that Tseth is tied to, staying out of Birch’s line of sight. He chitters quietly at him, his wings flaring. He seems to know what’s going on, and he looks like he wants to help.
Alex: Ah- “The forest has a lot of wildlife. Likely a griffin, or whatever Parvus is.”
(Griffins meaning birds if anyone’s confused-)
As Tseth looks up into the trees, a small shape can be seen darting through them.
Parvus: He hops into the tree that Tseth is tied to, staying out of Birch’s line of sight. He chitters quietly at him, his wings flaring. He seems to know what’s going on, and he looks like he wants to help.
Tseth: He looks at Parvus for a moment, before returning his attention to Birch and the others. He whispers to Parvus. “Hey, little guy. Think you can help me with these ropes?”
Alex: Ah- “The forest has a lot of wildlife. Likely a griffin, or whatever Parvus is.”

Salmook: a bit disconcerted by the idea of running into more wildlife here, after all, half of what they've found so far has tried to kill them. he puts on a brave face, though, for Resh's sake. "…right. Let's… let's hope it's just another Parvus."

Parvus: He stares at Birch for a moment, eyes wide. Birch turns and walks away, and Parvus jumps into Tseth’s shoulder and starts gnawing at the ropes, lashing his tail.
Resh: He pats Salmook’s head, attempting to comfort him. “Hey, it’s okay to be nervous-“ He pauses. “…I think I heard something.”
(he gets worried when other people worry about him-)

(Resh is 100% going to unofficially adopt Salmook)
Alex: He pulls out a couple knives, looking around. He gets closer to Salmook and Resh, just in case.
Tseth: He puts tension on the ropes with his body, making it so they’ll snap easier. He doesn’t move too much, though, for fear of catching anyone’s attention.
Salmook: shudders, and readjusts the knife in his hand. there's no way he'd be able to spot anything in the canopy, he's used to pines, not… whatever trees these are. he keeps still and quiet so as not to attract any attention.
Parvus: He stops chewing at the ropes for a second and nudges Tseth with his snout in a friendly gesture, then continues chewing the ropes
Resh: He looks around for a few minutes, before he snaps his head in the direction he heard something from the first time. He jerks his head in that direction. “This way.”
(Probably just gonna say Juni is napping back at the clearing and let Riotlord mess with her once she’s online-)
Alex: He looks in the direction Resh gestured to “Lead the way, then.” His wings are held higher than normal, and drawn closer together. He seems apprehensive.
Tseth: A small smile is seen on his face when Parvus nudges him. His voice is still a whisper when he speaks. “Thanks.” At least there’s something to help. It won’t end like last time. It can’t-
(Sounds good!)
Resh: He starts walking in that direction, making sure Alex and Salmook are following. He raises his sword slightly. “I think I see someone…” His voice is lowered to a whisper.
Parvus: He keeps attacking the ropes until he sees a movement in the corner of his vision. He looks over, flaring out his wings and hissing.
Tseth: He angles his head so his hair covers Parvus. “Someone will hear you.”
Alex: His voice is also a whisper when he speaks. He’s crouched down slightly. “There’s a heat signature. You’re probably right.”
Salmook: shivers, that doesn't sound good. he tries to keep his breathing in check, and he starts to look for a promising hiding spot, just in case. he's a little more confident with Resh around, but that's not saying much.
Parvus: He draws his wings back to his sides and curls up on Tseth’s shoulder, attempting to stay hidden.
Resh: He stalks closer to the person, prepared to attack. He pauses as he gets closer, narrowing his eyes. “Wait a minute. They’re tied up.” He moves a few tree branches in order to see better, then calls out in a whisper-shout. “Tseth?”
Tseth: His head snaps over to the side. Is that.. Resh? There’s others with him. Alex, and… Salmook? They brought the kid here? He responds in the same whispering voice as before. “Don’t come closer. There’s others.”
Salmook: "others?" other what?! he moves closer to Resh for comfort, though he's mindful not to be in the way.
(Aww)
Resh: He absentmindedly shields Salmook with his cloak, careful not to cover up his head. He nods at Tseth and looks around.
Parvus: He pokes his head out of Tseth’s hair, then starts attacking the ropes again.
Alex: Looking around “There’s at least 15 people here. Maybe more.”
Tseth: He looks down at Parvus’s work. Some of the ropes are frayed enough.. He tries to snap some of the ropes by moving his arm.
