Feel free to jump in whenever, the only rules I ask are that you do not try to hijack the bus. Creatures, beasts and humans of all walks of live and time periods are allowed on the uber bus! Fighting is permitted, I ask that you do not eat other people though or teleport them to a pocket dimension. Or kill others. Do you know how hard it is to get blood out of the seats? Have discussions with each other; who knows, you could make a new friend or enemy! And I'm sure the bus driver has lots to tell.
The Uber Bus.
A bus with interdimensional properties, to bend space and time. Somehow, it never runs out of space for passengers, despite looking like a normal bus from outside…
Run by Hayden the Uber Driver themselves, feel free to come on board. It doesn't matter what time period you hail from, or what species you are - you could be a flying spoon for all they care. I do ask you not to hijack the bus though, or attempt to steal it..
Steps onto Uber Bus. “Hello? Anyone here.”
(Should I make a character?)
(Yeah, should we make characters?)
Ok! I’m making one for now!
Name: Arielle Foxhallow
Description: 4’10”, bright red wavy waist length hair, sea green eyes, pale skin with a few freckles.
Species: Faerie
Powers: controls the wind and can summon anything smaller than a loaf of a bread if she snaps her fingers.
(It’s basic but character development as I go)
(I may just join this in a bit.)
Name: Thalia Evergreen
Description: 5'8, straight black hair that stops just below her shoulder blades, stormy gray eyes, tan skin.
Species: Elf
Powers: Can turn invisible, but has to focus, can turn other things invisible, but she needs absolute quiet to do so.
(If the invisibility is to much, I can come up with something else.)
((I mean typically for character chats I usually don’t do character sheets, usually you just jump in with a character you have already but if you want to do that it’s just fine!))
There’s a slight humming as the bus begins to turn on.
Hayden glances backwards, then right to the controls, before calling out in greeting, “Hello!” They sounded quite happy.
Ava sneaks onto the bus using the second door instead of the main one. Hiding behind one of the seats and catching her breath. She didn't even have time to process that she was on a bus when she did she looked around confused. It looked a lot different than the white one she whent on 2 years ago.
Thalia glanced up from her book, paused her music, and took her earbuds out of her ears. She looked at Arielle and muttered, "Um…hello."
Ava stayed crouched behind the chairs. Not sure where exactly she was. She realized that this wasn't a normal bus. Maybe it was safe to stand up but what if she was wrong. Maybe this town just had busses. She probably still wasn't allowed on one. Her grey outfit and screen in her arm showing that she didn't belong.
Thalia glanced at Hayden and flashed them a small smile before putting her earbuds back in her ears, and reopening her book.
Joanna Henaghan stood beside the bus trying to find a few more coins before hopping on. She huffed in annoyance unable to find it so she just grabbed an extra dollar and folded her wallet stuffing it in her pocket. She climbed aboard the bus and paid the fee. She quickly made her way to the middle of the bus sitting down and laying her head back shutting her eyes.
Thalia glanced at the Joanna, who had just sat across the aisle from her, and wondered whether or not she had seen her. If she had, it would be dangerous to turn invisible.
Arielle looked around the bus and got bored. The petite faerie snapped her fingers softly and a sketchbook and pencils appeared. She began to sketch the ravens haired girl who had to be at least a foot taller than her.
Ava slowly moved up and sat down on the char that she hid behind. She was near the exit and planned on jumping out at the next stop.
Jo couldn't sleep so she fluttered her eyes open and looked at everyone. Everyone seemed awkwardly quiet- and she herself was part of that.
The bus turned on, and began to move.
Hayden looked back again. They were probably an odd sight for a bus driver, looking like they came out of the apocalypse with their gas mask - although I assure you, they would look like something from the apocalypse for sure without it.
“So, where is everyone headed?” They called out, voice slightly muffled, although they were a bit loud.
"5th Ave. Coffee shop." Joanna shouted rubbing her temple.
“Everywhere and nowhere” The Faerie callee out. She crossed her ankles and softly snapped her fingers making a charcoal pencil appear.
Ava stayed quiet and sitting. She listened to the others confused. Coffee shop? Since when does this town have a coffee shop She thought keeping her head tilted down.
Thalia hadn't heard the question over her music. She just got on this bus to get away from her problems, and she didn't have any intention of getting off for a few hours.
Hayden nodded, not fazed by any of the answers given. They began to prep the bus.
A new face..or being, ‘stepped’ on board. He was not a human, more like a cloud of smoke wrapped together to form whatever he was. He grabbed a seat on board, if he was even capable of sitting. “Fenh’im, if you still go there.” He spoke in a calm voice.
A boy old enough to go to highschool steps on as well.
"Um, this isn't a CATA bus," he states very obviously. The look on his face tells you he has no idea what is going on.
(K Imma definitely have to join this later)
