(Lmao! Well, I’ve been caught. I can’t escape it now!)
(Lucitius sighs in boredom)
(Lmao! Well, I’ve been caught. I can’t escape it now!)
(Lucitius sighs in boredom)
(I chuckle, then look back down at Lily. My face softens as I brush back a few loose strands of her hair.)
(Lucitius watches, his gaze becoming thoughtful. Much like mineself and Synthia. Turns away, a small smile on his face)
(I look up, and chuckle I know we must seem a bit young to be in love, much less in love with each other, but you must understand: she keeps me attached to this world. Without her, I wouldn't have the ability to talk with anyone except the devil. My love for her and her love for me keep me alive. I look at Anastasia and smile slightly I wouldn't have gotten to know such wonderful people if it weren't for Ashton.)
(Lucitius gave an amused rumble. I know well what it be like. Mine first mate had been an ally since childhood. Though, mine demons are different from yours)
(I smile back)
(I chuckle I am familiar with bits of your story. However, I would like to know more.)
(I grin and loop an arm around your shoulders, ruffling your hair And yes, you're one of those amazing people.)
(Lucitius sighs. Mine tale is long and tragic. I would not wish to burden you with such sorrow)
(I grin, then laugh. Yay!)
(I sigh and gently move Lily, then stand up. I pull up my shirt and turn around. Several large scars are on my lower back. All parralel to each other. After making sure Lucitius gets a good look, I show him my heavily scarred arms. I am well acqainted with Sorrow. She is an old bedfellow of mine.)
(I smile I'm glad I got to get to know you.)
(Lucitius sighs sorrowfully at the sight. He then closed his eyes, dispelling the illusion around him. His body became littered with dozens of scars, of his horns missing, and his robe became tattered, a large hole in the side which revealed a huge burn scar. Clawmarks showed prominently on his neck, where it had been cut, and one of his eyes had become milky from a scar stretching across his face. The largest tear in his robe was from his shoulder down to his ankle, a dark, barely healed scar glaring through the tear. You know her not as well as I)
(I hum. You’re glad you’re getting to know me. Present tense, my dear friend. I smile reassuringly)
(I shake my head sorrowfully, speaking almost without thought. 'Tis not a contest, my friend. I know that you, in all thy past years, and those in the future, have and will face greater sorrow than a human such as I can comprehend. Just know that I know great sorrows of my own, and that I only meant my showing of marks as a peace offering. I bow low, then straighten again Please, accept that and my deepest apologies.)
(I nod thoughtfully True. After all, for the sake of Lily, I swore off my own death.)
(Lucitius nods. I had only meant to show mine own scars to emphasize how tragic mine tale is. I am not angered by your own sharing. His illusion returns, his body becoming basically flawless again)
(That’s good. And, keep to that vow, because you’re one of my few friends. I point a finger at you, emphasizing my words while also maintaining a lighthearted, reassuring manner)
(I sigh in relief 'Tis good that I did not anger you. I have no wish to anger a god like you. I smile mischeviously I'll anger every other god, though.)
(I chuckle softly Aye. I understand, lord{lady? for the sake of goofing around, preffered pronouns?})
(Lucitius shrugged. I am no god, yet I appreciate that. He then chuckled in amusement)
(I snicker. Lady, I’m a lady. And good)
(I smile You may as well be a god.)
(I chuckle Good to know, m'lady.)
(Lucitius shrugged again. ‘Tis likely best I never become one, for the sake of those who wish to keep their sanity)
(I snicker again. I’m no ordinary Lady though. I pull out a red fan and cool myself with it, small black blades poking out of the folds. I get an evil grin)
(I just inspired myself. I want a fan like that IRL. Lmao!)
(I look surprised, then a genuine laugh escapes me Lucitius, begging your pardon, but my sanity set sail and shipwrecked on a desert island next to my standards and self-confidence long ago.)
(I smile grimly, slightly opening my jacket. A flash of metal, then the jacket's closed again M'lady, the proper young "man" in front of you is a. . . let's just say I have my secrets.)
(Lmao!)
(I stir, reaching out for Thomas, and crying out when I can't find them. Thomas. Thomas? I push myself up, breathing heavily. I groan and dry-heave for a moment. The wild look in my eyes settles when I see Thomas. I hold my arms out to them, my hands shaking. Oh. Thomas. Safe. I try to stand to get to them, but can't, and fall back. I cry, needing to reach them. I can't stand. I glace fearfully at Lucitius.)
(I rush back over to Lily, pushing Lucitius out of the way. I gently push you back down. I'm here, love. Don't worry. I'm here.)
(Lucitius snorts. I doubt some of that, yet it makes no matter. He turns away, drifting into thought)
(I hum. A man of secrets, eh? Intriguing. Chuckles. I could summon several that fit that description, lol. Contemplates doing that, but decides to hold off for now)
(Lucitius turns as Lily stirs, watching her. He takes a few steps back and bows slightly at her, trying to reassure her, but he suspects that she’s too out of it to really comprehend his meaning. He glanced at Meep, watching him appraisingly. He didn’t budge when Meep pushed him, but he stepped aside some more to be polite)
(I chuckle I'll not argue.)
(I laugh Many secrets, m'lady.)
(I barely pay Lucitius any attention)
(I hum again. That narrows down the list of folks I could summon, lol)
(Lucitius just watches, silent and still. If it wasn’t for his breathing, he’d look like a statue)
(I shudder. I thought…And they were… and you…. and I… I relax at Thomas’ touch, pure relief on my face. N-n-nevermind. You’re here. I smile weakly. I missed you. I lean against Thomas as I push myself into an upright position. I groan, my head hurting like hell. W-where’s Serp?)
(I step forward, waving shyly. I’m here)
(Lucitius glances at me, then turns back to watching Lily and Meep)
(I glance at Anastasia, then turn my attention back to Lily I know what you thought. But those two are gone. I grin weakly Solid iron to the skull does wonders.)
(Thank God you're okay. I can't live without you. I tilt my head back and start to give Thomas a chaste kiss, but pull away groaning, clutching my head again. Owwww. I sigh and look around. I give a weak smile at Serp and turn back to Thomas. Who… who is he? I nod towards Lucitius. Friend or foe?)
