Belle: Confused as to what the hell has happened in general. She must have fell unconscious or temporarily faded.

Aria: Hello, new people!

Avrey: now with glowing eyes and creepy blue fire enveloping him. HEY!! WH-WHAT A-ARE YOU DOING??
Estee: snores

Belle: Walks over and wakes Estee, then grabs Maia Are you a blood sorceress or something? Because nobody besides them needs someone elses blood, unless it's for a blood transfusion, which you cannot do with that little blood.

Aria: What's going on?

Avrey: vaguely remembering something… Oh. Shit. No sh-she is. Yeah….

Epsilon: What? Who? notices who said his name and hides behind Leo, shifting back to his smol form. What do you want??

Belle: It's the name of the Sector. We're in Epsilon-Theta-Pi. They're Greek letter names.

Shai: Blood sorceress? Cool.

Belle: Blood magic is… she sighs and snaps. Immediately, tendrils of red start curling around her left hand from Shai. This is blood magic. I can do anything with your blood.

Shai: Wow. Okay. That is creepy and I do feel like that's something Owen would know about.
Tyr: to Raef Yes he is. He's from the House of Shark, though, so it's kind of understandable. Shark fin soup and all that.

Belle: Yup. Now… Shai starts moving at Belle's will, the blood coming from Shai being used to control her. I can do shit like this, or… she uses Shai's blood to draw a glyph on her arm. A corresponding glyph appears on Shai. …that.

Avrey: shoots a flare of energy at Belle. H-hey! Cut that out!
Estee: blinking, confused
Epsilon: jumping up and down excitedly. And they can vacuum the floor and knit a hat and help capture children- er… and help capture butterflies!

Tyr: watches, somewhat scared
Shai: starts making a rumbling noise from the back of her throat; she's cursing in Moray

Leo: And they can water plants and make cookies and make people laugh!
Raef: still processing that someone can be scared of soup

Belle: Flicks her wrist and the energy deflects. She tsk-tsks. Now now, Avrey. These people think blood magic is something fun and cool. It isn't. It's a curse. And stop that, Shai. Another glyph appears on Shai's throat. Immediately, she ceases to be able to speak. You need to know that blood magic is not something to be messed with.

Tyr: yelps Okay! She just said it was cool, like it sounded cool! Like Atlantis or Veridin or cephalopod! We don't have it in Veridin! Belle: Nods I know. But it is not as cool as you think. A curse is the only way to gain blood magic. If you ever, ever find yourself able to use blood magic, tell me. She removes the glyph on Shai's throat, but keeps the one on Shai's arm there as a reminder. It is a brand. Permanent.
