He cringed again, but chuckled.
"Knock knock."
He cringed again, but chuckled.
"Knock knock."
"Who's there?" Nyx brushed a loose strand of hair out of her face; the loose sleeve of her bathrobe slid down her arm, revealing the spur on the inside of her wrist.
"The chicken."
"The chicken who?" She was completely oblivious that her spur was exposed.
"The chicken who was walking to the idiot's house. He arrived."
"Are you calling me an idiot?"
He smiled.
"Maybe."
She scowled at him, and then, suddenly realising that her spur was completely exposed, turned pink and dropped her arm back down, tugging her sleeve back over her wrist.
"It's just a joke, cutie-" He covered his mouth.
"I mean… I should go away right now…"
Nyx went bright pink. "What did you just call me?"
"nOthing!" He squeaked
Nyx raised her eyebrows. "Are you sure?"
"yEs!" He squeaked when he lied
"One hundred percent?" she asked, coming over to him and folding her arms. Even though she was standing and he was sitting, she was at his eye level (for once).
He collapsed under the pressure. He couldn't lie to those teal eyes.
"No."
"Then what did you say?"
"I called you a cutie…" he said, prepared to be smacked
Nyx turned bright red. "What?"
"I CALLED YOU A CUTIE!!" He said more clearly, but calmly
Nyx, for once at a loss for words, shoved her hands through her hair. Both sleeves of her bathrobe fell down her arms, revealing the six-inch-long spurs on her wrists.
"Sorry…"
She didn't know what to say. Only Seven had acted like that, but towards Phoenix. Nyx had always been an onlooker to Seven's affection, and now that she was the object of such, she had no idea what to do.
"Don't hurt me…" He said
"Why would I hurt you?" She suddenly realised that her sleeves were down, her spurs showing. "Oh. No, those are for special occasions." She had no idea why she wasn't covering them up.
"Just, the way you've been acting…" He said, blushing. Don't notice me blushing
