(Really?? It's one of my favourite movies!)
(I have never heard of it. I'm not a movie watcher though…)
(Ah I get that then.)
They eventually found a movie they agreed on and put it in; about 2/3 of the way through, Nyx fell asleep.
Vozreal fell asleep a few minutes later.
It was only when the movie ended, the sounds of it shutting off, when Nyx blinked awake. Squinting at the clock, she realised it was 5:30. She was hungry - they hadn't had lunch.
Sighing, she closed her eyes and curled up under the blanket again, debating whether or not to leave the cosy nest or to go downstairs and get something to eat.
Vozreal was snoring. He was a deep sleeper.
After a few minutes, Nyx, deciding that she could no longer stand the sound of him snoring, slithered out from underneath his arm and escaped from the blanket, heading downstairs to get something to eat. Examining the pantry, she discovered a packet of Goldfish; tearing it open, she flopped down on the couch and started to eat, humming softly to herself.

He still was asleep, but he stopped snoring
Nyx, having finished the Goldfish, came back upstairs and crawled underneath the blanket again.
He just slept
Nyx, having decided that he would remain asleep for quite a while, grabbed a game controller and played Minecraft for a while, leaning her cheek against the top of Vozreal's head. After a while, she realised that she was focusing more on him than the game, so she shut the TV off and buried her face in his hair, wrapping an arm around his neck.
He was still asleep. I told you he was a deep sleeper
After a while, Nyx fell asleep too.
After a few hours, a high-pitched whine sliced through the air, there but not, nagging at your ears like a badly tuned radio. Nyx jolted awake, wincing. Her ears hurt. For a moment, she thought it was the echoes of an eyeball screaming, but when it didn't fade, she shook Vozreal's shoulder. "Hey, wake up."
he woke up later. it was 9:30 pm
"Do you hear that?" Nyx asked, looking around. "That whining noise?"
"Sounds like a radio screech?" He asked
"That's what I thought too." She winced. "Should we go find whatever it is?"
"Probably me. I do that sometimes."
She looked at him, vaguely skeptical. "Really?"
"Yeah. I don't know why it happens, but it does."
"Hmm." She tilted her head. "Sorry for waking you up."
"It's okay. What time is it?"
"9:30, I think."
