They rested their head back on Kye’s shoulder with a relieved sigh. They just enjoyed being here with Kye so much and they didn’t want it to end. And for some reason he felt like it would end if they left.

Kye meanwhile, was still trying to comprehend exactly what had made Blake so intent on them staying. It wasn't like Blake to do that too often, but it was a nice change. If Blake would ask anything of him, it was likely he would simply let him.

Blake cuddled closer to Kye. To be fair, it was getting a bit colder the longer they stayed here, so at the very least they had a valid excuse for their actions. They let their eyes slide shut, just feeling perfectly relaxed.

Derlik was waiting for the two boys to come back, looking up at the stars himself. He hummed some, leaning back on his hands.
"Welp," he said, after some time, pushing himself off the boulder, "They're due back, and yet here they aren't. Time to go figure out if they're okay." The god stretched, looking out. He was… quick to drop the sadness from before. His moods changed quickly, and he didn't want to mess with Alec seeing as they had a truce. Astral had soured the fun a bit, too.

Kye hummed, appreciating the other's warmth in the cool air. He felt Derlik's moods fluctuate some, but he ignored them for the most part as it was normal. The only time he would be concerned was if he were furious or deeply depressed. Or extremely high and/or drunk. The boy watched the souls that covered the sky before closing his eyes as well.

Blake was glad he was able to be full sized right now, it was really nice to just cuddle with Kye, and wrap their arms around him.

Derlik made his way through the trees, looking up and down occasionally to try to find the two. He hummed some, coming to a stop when he was under them.
"Hey, you two," he said, smiling a bit as he leaned against the trunk, "Star gazing? You've been gone for a while, I was getting worried."

Blake looked over the side of the branch down at Derlik. “Sorry, we didn’t mean to worry you.” They said with an apologetic smile. “Yeah we’re just stargazing.”

Kye flinched a moment, not having realized the amount of time had passed. He blushed a moment, not used to being so forgetful. "Sorry! We don't get to do this often and I… got distracted," he apologised, being genuine behind his lack of remembrance.

Derlik held back a chuckle, waving his hand.
"It's alright, you two," He said looking up with a gentle smile. "I'm glad you both seem to be enjoying yourselves." The god leaned against the tree, looking up still.
"And, I think to solve that problem, you two should do this more." They both looked happy, and that made Derlik happy.

Blake smiled widely, hoping this meant that he’d actually be able to be bigger more frequently. But they wouldn’t say so in case they were wrong.

Kye, however, seemed to have no qualms about asking. "Does that mean Blake can be full sized more?" he asked, hoping the answer was yes. He had to keep still as Blake was still mostly leaning into him, not that he was complaining.

"More for sure," Derlik finally said. He grinned back at the two, pushing off the tree trunk. "Not all the time, not yet, but it's going to be a lot more often now." The god put his hands in his pockets, still smiling.

Blake smiled widely, leaning back into the tree so he could hug Kye tightly. He was very excited about it, looking forward to being full size more of the time.
