"Yeah she is amazing. She works best for me, since she's large enough to prevent the others from approaching me on my right side. She makes me feel safe, too." Gracie gives a small smile.

“Aw, that’s sweet,” Eli smiles at how sweet Gracie’s words were. “ I think it’s cool your only half blind. I may have eyes that make my seem blind but I can see it’s just I was a dumb kid,” Eli says giggling under his breath.
"I… don't see how that would be funny? But thanks, I guess…" Gracie replies. Then under her breath, "I wish I had normal eyes."
“Why do you want to be normal. I think it’s cool to stand out. You don’t need to blend in I think your perfect just the way you are. I’m not even close to being normal, and it’s not just because of my abilities.” Eli said smiling at Gracie.
"Yeah, well I've found it's easier to blend in… but thanks anyways." She started bouncing up and down lightly on her feet, nervous. "Anyways, we better go find our seat early or it'll be too late" Gracie hurried to move along. She was exaggerating, but she just really wanted an excuse to get out of here.
Jason looked back over his shoulder. "You two slow pokes coming or not?" He asks while making his way down the hall. Finding the room, he enters, and sits down in the back of the room next to a window, which he immediately opens, letting the cool air swim over his burning hot skin.
Eli speed walked into the room. He set the second silver band on Jason’s desk then walked to another empty desks few chairs in front of Jason. Eli took out a small notepad and pencil and started doodling in the notepad to spend his time before class started.
Gracie and Etta single filed walked into the room as best they could, and she sat in the back of the room, like Jason, but in the closest seat. She yawned.
Picking the bracelet up, Jason quietly walks up to Eli, unheard, and sets the shiny object down. "Thank you, but I have a feeling that this won't work on me," he says, and walks back to his seat.
Eli puts the bracelet on his other wrist do he won’t be able to use his powers at all. wow Eli you really are good with people… now two more people most likely dislike you cause of your clingy ness good job Eli thought to himself as he continued to doodle in his notepad.
Jason sees the slight shift in Eli's posture. "I just have a feeling that it won't work on me; its nothing that you said or did."
"It can't hurt to try, can it?" Gracie piped up. After all, her life had been full of trying.
“No, he doesn’t have too,” Eli mumbled in defeat. “But, like Gracie said it doesn’t hurt trying,” Eli said shifting in his chair to face Jason.
