"Oh, alright then. Umm…I'm Jay." He gave a quick bow, electricity flickering in his eyes, "Protector of this place."

"A lightning mage? I got a friend like you, around this kids´ age…" Mot looks at Jay like she´s trying to find something "No mark… That´s weird but convinient… Protector of this place huh…"

"A mark?" He asked, confused. He stepped closer, "Yes I am the protector of this place, how did you get here?" He asked not wanting to admit that the place was abandoned.

Meredith looked curiously at jay, but didn't say anything.

"We need to keep moving we can talk when we find somewhere to stay," she said matter of factly.
Meredith felt safer now, not because she was surrounded by people but because now she was taking care of Evinrude, she felt like she had a reason to be strong.

"So this really isn´t Therravea… You know, where I come from, we mages had a mark acording to the kind of magic we use" Mot takes off her scarf and show Jay a red fire mark on her neck

Meredith took notice of the mark, she had seen it before but she hadn't ever really seen it

"At least mages aren´t hunt down in this place, right?" Mot put on her scarf as she said asked that

"Guys we need to get Evin out of here, have any of you seen an exit?" Meredith asked strictly her voice getting a little annoyed.

"I think I have something… Over there!" Mot runs expecting everyone to follow her, then stops at a big gate made of black metal embelished with gold and rubies

Meredith traced her hand over the metal,
"Ow, it burns."

"Tch…" Jay frowned, "I haven't left for years, as far as I know, once you enter you can't leave." Jay looked uncertain, "Not since she was here," He muttered quietly.

Evin had, by this point pulled himself together. (though he was still a little shaken)

"Where´s Einar when you need him?" Mot complains to herself "Oi, Jay, can you open it?"

"who is she?" Evin asked picking up on jays off hand comment.

"Nothing important to you." He snapped, then looked down, "Sorry. It's nothing…"

"Nemermind… Im melting the shit out of this" Mot cover herself on fire "Take a few steps back unless you´r fired proof" Mot touches the door, burning brighter and brighter at every moment, everyone had to keep moving back since the heat was almost unbearable

"my sister definitely wasn't fire proof" meredith thought to herself.

"Nothing important to you." He snapped, then looked down, "Sorry. It's nothing…"

Evinrude looked a little hurt by his comment but took the apology.

Jay stood fairly close, standing against the heat, watching her efforts. He cocked his head, wondering if she could melt it. He hadn't left this area in a long while.

The flames finally stopped and meredith opened her eyes.

Mot kept burning the gate, the flames started to turn blue due to how hot they were, a few minutes after that the doow was gone, she put off the fire and looked back at everyone, she was tired and could barely talk or walk, still, she wasn´t going to lay down and rest, not in this kind of situation "Cant find a way out, just make it yourself, Imma right?" she laught while trying to not look tired

"You've weakened yourself…" Jay said stepping up to Mot.

The flames finally stopped and meredith opened her eyes.

"You know what why don't we just sleep right here. Me and Evin will start setting up camp." Meredith said taking charge.

"Evinrude, you get out the food I'm going to find some blankets, or anything else useful,"

Meredith went off to explore, As evin started to unpack his bag.
