(._. Well finally someone else having problems with that, like seriously, mine confused angts with words on spanish…)
In the corner a girl maybe about 17 sat. She had hidden her face in her knees and seemed to be crying. Mot began to walk towards the girl, "Don't," meredith said quietly. Meredith pointed at the silver strings attached to the girl's arms and legs, she looked like a mariqunet. "Her name is Morrigan, the owl woman is controlling her. She used her to kill my sister." her eyes starting to tear up.
Jay stared at the girl with strings, his eyes narrowed suspiciously. He didn’t say a word, just stayed in place and watched her.
there were 9 other corners in the room, and in each corner was a different person, except the very back corner. Meredith recognised two others.
Meredith turned around "all of these people have been controlled by her."
one of them had a owl whispering in their ear, another was playing a game of chess by themself, one of them was looking in a mirror seeing nothing at all instead of their reflection.
Meredith stared into the empty corner. "That one is for me," she mumbled.
(hewo)
"We aint gonna let that that happend" Mot sets her hands on fire and screams "SHOW YOUR FUCKING SELF OWL BITCH" she didn´t care the outcome, she was going to find a way out for everyone and herself, no matter how much it´ll cost
Back in the "real world" Jan sat next to the trhee of them, the cheerful and obnoxious expression he always had was replaced by pure dread, all the things he saw and heard still haunt him to this day, even as a grown adult, now seeing someone that young going trough something similar, "how come that kid hasn´t gone mad?" he though to himself, and Jan knew that potion never brings someting good…
"If I made it trough, she will" Jan felt Dineke´s hand on his shoulder, as she sat next to him "She´s strong, stronger than what I was at her age, I know she will"
"How?" Jan asked "I just know it…" she sounded like that was something embarrasing "You just know it? What happened to that Diny who always needed proper research and a logical explanation to say something like that?"
A small smile formed on Jan´s face mixed with confussion "I guess I picked some habits from you"
Jay sighed at Mots excessive outburst. He summoned a bit of lightning in his hands and some flickered in his eyes as well as in his hair.
"I know Dineke promised to get you out of here, If she can´t… Im gonna make sure it happens" her voice as determinated as never and her arms complitely covered in fire "This has to work, we are already here, this HAS to work…"
Jay looked at her carefully and frowned slightly, “You can try…” he muttered quietly. He took a small step forward, his eyes filling with more golden lightning.
The fire in Mot´s hands was extending to her neck, her legs started to catch on fire, her eyes were changing, the sclera was becoming black and the iris was a vibrant shade of orange, even her pupils, turning complitely white, the adrealasys, what she talked about that time, this couldnpt be right, mages can´t go into adralasys on purpose, it has to be on a life or death situation and they can´t control it, maybe is because she´s a seer, which allows her to feel the danger a little bit faster, maybe is because of the place, maybe is someone else controling her, who knows…
A laugh echoed through the room, a yellow and orange smoke floated through the room.
"Show yourself!" Mot was turning into fire like the last time, this time the flames where getting hotter and hotter
Meredith walked to the center of the room and the owl woman appeared, what looked like a smile cracked on her beak.
And at that moment, Mot didn´t even look human, all of her was fire, blue fire, not the usual orange flames she has, even her voice, it sounded like meat was burning as she talked "WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?" it was obvious, mages only got into afrealasys when teir life is on danger and since she´s a seer, she could feel it before it appeared, but it never was that strong, she never went into adrealasys like that, not in her world, only on this one.
"Im here to make a deal with you!" she tried to scream but it was hard to make out what she was saying
"Now," the owl woman said summoning a chair out of the smoke, "You want to go home, and I want to erase Meredith's soul," Meredith felt chills roll down her spine hearing her say it so calmly. "All we have to do is find the terms of the deal."
"Im NOT doing that" Mot said, it felt like she could barely talk, or even breath "You are getting us out of here, not only Meredith and Evinrude, you are also getting Jan, Dinke AND Jay" she makes a long pause "I´ll stay here if needed…"
Jay stayed calm, glaring at the owl lady and stepping away from Mots flaming figure.
Mot couldn´t say anything, this pain, the kinds of pain she barely felt "it burns" she let out a cry, as a fire mage, she was fireproof, not this time, not when she´s into adrealasys, everything hurted her so bad that even back in the "real world" everyone could hear her whimpering
"Then there is no deal," the owl woman woman said ignoring Mot.
"There is one other way of course," Meredith said looking the woman in the eyes.
"I thought you lost it." the owl woman tilted her head.
"I did but it has to be in one of the dimensions why not it be this one," Meredith contradicted.
"I can promise you it's not," the owl woman assured her.
In the real world Cochiti sighed. "Why are we doing this again?" she asked, "It's not like the owl woman will give us what we want."
"Well she might." Evin hoped, "if we give her what she wants.
"I don't care what she wants, she doesn't deserve shit." Cochiti a grimace on her face.
(Coming back from school)
"I´ll join you, just what you offered, just let them go" Mot could barely talk "Take my soul or whatever" the pain stoped for a while "You know what I am, the seer, the reincarnation of the Asharrah´s second child, my soul has thousands of memories from each of my lifes, every single one, since the beggining of time, the soul of a god trapped in the body of a mortal, acording to the priest"
"Oh dear don't you understand, I don't want her soul I want the absence of it. You see dear one way to manifest magic is by creating the absence of a soul, in a way your soul is your free will and I want someone to control. I want someone who soul I can get rid of, yours seems a bit complex. Though you would be an interesting add to the collection." she paused, "But the other way me and Meredith were discussing, that could be your way out. But we would have to make another deal. I don't need Meredith's soul but you would have to agree to something else."
