"We're busy," Neirym said irritably. And with a wave of his hand he closed both sides of the vent, sealing Tristan and himself inside.
Lacie was now hyperventilating. She hated small enclosed spaces but she knew it was the only chance at escape. Now since the vents were closed, she was screwed.
“I want to escape…and go home…” Tears flooded from his eyes.
"And why should I give that to you?" For once his eyes seemed sympathetic, almost… kind.
"Because he's ten?"
Neirym whispered to Emma quietly, so she was the only one who could hear. "Be quiet little darling," he hissed, "or I shall tear your pretty little body limb from limb."
“I don’t, don’t know,” he cried, wiping the tears from his face, too scared to think of a good reason.
Lacie grabbed a small bear from her back pocket, it was usually what she used in situations like these but she didn't care. Her hand shakily handed it to the boy.
(You can't do that. As in the wall is in your way.)
Tristan reached for the bear, reaching his hand behind the man that sat in front of him.
"Pity." he said. He opened the side if the vent facing towards the main room.
(What wall?)
(Cause Neirym closed them in until just now.)
Lacie looked at her hands
(How about there was a hole in the wall.)
Neirym appeared where he was before. "All right," he said pleasantly. "No more running away and spoiling the fun now alright."
(That would probably make more sense)
Lacie's hands gripped her skirt. Her knuckles turned white.
He strode next to Lacie. "What's wrong my sweet?"
She was breathing harder and faster. Her head started to hurt from the over-whelming heat she was feeling.
"Please don't die." he said sympathetically.
She just nodded her head and backed out the vent
Tristan crept out of the hole
Lacie went to sit in a corner mumbling words to calm herself down
