Adyn kicked up his feet, sitting in a chair he had made. It was honestly a throne, he also had a crown perched lopsided on his head. The man had two brown eyes and looked like a neon disco king. "I'm boreeeed!" He complained to his author as he made this chat. "I'm working on it chucklefuck." The author grumbled, pressing post.
A figure stepped from the shadows seemingly, a mask covering the individuals face, hiding all features. Despite the hidden features, the feeling of the eyes behind the mask were glancing around, searching. Beside the figure, was a rather large creature, its own face and head having a mask much like the figure next to it. Though the beast's mask, the two holes that were for eyes were glowing an unnatural bright blue. Its form seemed to be a mixture of mechanical and organic. Its tail swayed, the end of it ending in the same, unnatural blue flames.
As for the cloaked, masked figure, they seemingly tilted their head at the new surroundings. However, it said not a word, simply looking around in an almost curious fashion, the creature beside it looking around as well, though seeming more alert.
Neirym stepped in, his magically tailored suit making him look more fabulous then any mortal. He looked around, raising an eyebrow at the place, showing exactly how he felt about the relation between the place and him. He snapped his fingers and after a pink flash a large ornate red leather chair, a mix between a throne and a seat in an office appeared. He sat down elegantly, a smirk twitching on his handsome face.
The author sighed in relief. "Oh good, people are here so you won't bother me." He muttered to Adyn, sinking into the shadows. Adyn clapped his hands, his brightly colored scarf seeming to float on it's own. "Hurray! Hello people! Welcome to my humble abode!"
The creature beside the figure seemingly made a chirrup noise, remaining by the figure's side. The blue eyes were glancing back and forth that belonged to the creature. The blue flames on its tail flared up for a moment, then simmered back down to a warm flame.
As for the figure, it rested a gloved hand upon the beast's head. It then looked back to the male who seemed to be rather excited about everyone present. Hidden eyes looked over to the side as another male appeared, creating his own 'living place'. Though the masked figure looked back to the excited individual. It gave a bow to them, but still remained silent.
“So…” Neirym began, the smirk more visible than ever. “My… esteemed bastards. How fare you?”
"Well, a little worse for wear after teleporting here, or whatever the frick just happened," said a very mystified human boy, stumbling out of the shadows looking a bit dizzy.
"Who…are you guys?"
"I'm Adyn, the god of Life!" Adyn purred, his scarf letting out a scream before he grabbed it and shushed it. "Sorry 'bout that. A few souls are in some pain, it's fine though."
"Oh, God," muttered the boy. "Well, hi, I'm Boss. I'm…not the god of life or anything like that, but uh…I can hear demons? Since we're sharing that stuff."
The masked figure remained completely silent, head remaining tilted. Such curious new surroundings and beings. The creature beside it was constantly looking between everyone, blue eyes glowing. The flame upon its tail would flare up for a moment, then simmer back down, alert and ready to move should something present itself as a threat to either it or it's owner.
Hidden eyes continued to glance back and forth between everyone within the confines of the space. Still not a word came from, as if they couldn't speak. However, a sudden voice spoke in the other's mind. The voice was neither female or male, but seemingly a combination of both.
~Bastards? I don't quite see myself in that light…though I suppose there are a few lost souls who would call me that…no matter, it does not matter what they think~.
“Ah” Neirym said, “but if you are hear, doubtless you qualify. I certainly do.” He looked around at the others haughtily. “Though I highly doubt the worthiness of some.” His eyes rested on the human boy, before turning to Adyn. “How do you, a god of life, fit in with us?” he asked pleasantly, though giving him a searching look.
Adyn gave a wide, sharp-toothed smile. "Sometimes, giving something life is the worst thing you can do. My counterpart, Death, is much kinder than I." He kicked his feet onto his chair's armrests, examining his nails.
Neirym was slightly ruffled, but he composed himself, carefully keeping his facial features as still as stone. “I suppose so,” he said disinterestedly.
His smile turned into a smirk, half his mouth tilted up. "I suppose so indeed. I do like your name though, Neirym. Am I pronouncing that right?"
(I know, Adyn likes to tease.)
(He also likes to freak people out, which is why he said the name when Neirym didn't say it.)
(Whoops. My mortal senses didn’t catch that one.)
Neirym gazed at Adyn, a hint of power in his eyes. “Indeed. How did you know my name? It is no great mastery. Others have done the same,”
"Hm? What name?" Adyn blinked innocently, breaking out in a fit of laughter. "It's not that hard to figure out someone's name. I'm no god of wisdom, but even I can figure that much out."
“My name,” Neirym pressed. “You’re a god of life. This shouldn’t be in your jurisdiction.”
"My jurisdiction covers a lot more than you'd think Darlin!" He purred, his eyes flashing a dangerous green color.
Once again, the masked figure's voice that once echoed in the minds of those around became silent. The figure instead knelt down to the ground, body wrapped in the black cloak which it wore. The creature also sat down on its haunches next to its master. Blue balls of flames that seemed to match the creature's tail, floating around the figure and the beast.
The figure paused, lifting a gloved hand, one of the balls of flames coming to rest in the palm of their hand. They observed it for several moments, then seemingly ushered it back into the air.
“I suppose the same could be said of myself,” he said idly. “For I have the power of many gods. And many divine lineages flow through my veins.”
