"That's probably smart," Blade agreed. She whistled and Luna came running.
"That's probably smart," Blade agreed. She whistled and Luna came running.
Danica looks a little scared at the size and looks of this dragon.
At the mention of Rayla "making" another one, the red-headed girl holds out her hands.
"Um, do we really need another gigantic dragon in this itty-bitty space?" She chuckles nervously, "I mean, it's not like we want to be squished, right? If we go back to my house, then you can create a dragon….. outside……"
"Oh I can make this space bigger if I need to. Besides, Cory is only 3/10 the size of this place. I can fit another one here." Rayla laughs.
Blade laughs as well. "How'd you make her? Magic?"
"Yeah! I made her from a black hole I found a while ago that was devouring planets and galaxies." she grins.
Blade's eyebrows shoot up. "…Wow." She tilts her head. "Honestly, my world has no magic, so I've never seen anything like this before."
Rayla gasps.
"No magic?" she asks. "How do you guys live?"
Blade blinks. "What do you mean?"
She sighs. "Magic is a part of every world - it's in everything. If you guys have no magic, where are your souls?"
Blade smiles. "My world is different. Our souls are part of us like magic is part of you, and when we die, we join the Ancients, or the people who we think created our world. I guess maybe you could consider that magic, but we can't cast spells like you do. Which I'm glad for, considering that would mean that the tyrant we just killed would have superhuman abilities and even more murderous tendencies."
Rayla sighs.
"I don't understand human customs of rulership or religion. You people are strange." she replies.
"I actually very much agree with that," Blade says. "I don't understand much myself."
"But- you're a human, right?" Rayla asks, confused.
"Just because I'm human doesn't mean I understand humans, Rayla," Blade says. Luna runs over and barks in agreement.
"God, how complicated is human culture that not even their own species can understand it?" she frowns. "At least the Dragonborn have completely seperate nations."
Blade shrugged. "I'm not a scholar. I don't know these things." She rubbed Cory's scales again. "So you're a Dragonborn?
Rayla smiles.
"Yup." she replies, straight up just turning into a purple and orange dragon.
"See?"
"Whoa!" Blade jumps back in surprise. "Cool! You can all do that?"
"Well, some of us. The adults. I've been a live for a while, so yeah, I can. But ask a hatchling to try and they'll only succeed in growing scales or wings or a tail." she laughs.

(@Undeniable_Force, that is so cool! Did you draw it?)
"Huh." Blade walked around her, studying the scales. "Can you breathe fire or something?"
(Cool! Bigger than I was imagining originally :) LOL)
(No- I don't have any clue who did tho so yea)
(Fair enough)
(It's awesome all the same! Cory is the freaking best.)
"No, but I do exhale stardust." she chuckles, blowing a little stream of it onto Blade. The woman starts shining.
(Yeah- she's about a quarter of Cory's size tho)
Danica watches all this unfold with strangely calm composure.
"My realm has magic." She says at last.
