Doc Seward just casually giving into Renfield's requests is… I'm not sure what to make of it. Lol

I'm kinda growing tired of Lucy falling ill, recovering, and then falling ill again. I know that's horrible, but it is true.
Dracula Chapter 10
Doctors Seward and Van Helsing teaming up to care for Lucy, who is now in their care!
I'm not particularly a fan of harvesting analogy, though I do understand the usage.
"We learn from failure, not from success!" ~Abraham Van Helsing
That is such a great, powerful, and true quote!
Well, sounds like Lucy's a lot closer to Death's door than her own ailing mother is now.
Y'all better have a corresponding blood-type to Lucy's for that transfusion!
"My life is hers, and I would give the last drop of blood in my body for her."
The doctors just might hold you to that….
Arthur just donated his own blood to Lucy. He should sit back and (try to) relax for a bit. Blood transfusions can take a lot of a person in more ways than one.
Arthur might not have noticed Dracula's little love-bite, but the docs sure did! This has to be confirming what I imagine Van Helsing has been suspecting; vampyres be on the loose!
Yep, let Artie get his rest!
I highly doubt that Arthur would just willingly go home after seeing his beloved in such a state!
Trituration
I. verb - [with obj.]
Van Helsing: Just let me go back to Amsterdam to retrieve things that I should of had in my possession from the start.
Doc Seward: We mustn't bother Mrs. Westenra, an ailing woman, with news about her daughter. It just might kill her!
Also Doc Seward: Let's give Mrs. Westenra some news about her daughter!
FTW man!
I'm kinda glad to know that even Lucy herself knows what danger she is in.
The irony that one of Lucy's former marital prospects is watching her sleep, albeit for safety reasons, does not escape my notice! 😅
Even ill, Lucy is a gracious hostess/patient to doctors Seward and Van Helsing. Not gonna lie… that's impressive.
You could even say that Arthur is, in a way, part of you Lucy. Lol
"Gott in Himmel!" ="God in Heaven!"
Is that brandy for you, VH? I don't think it'll do much for poor, sweet, kindhearted Lucy.
And now the blood from two men that proclaimed their love for you is now part of you, dear Lucy!
Or you could've drank the brandy that was already brought to the room to try to stir Lucy…. Nope, let's just saunter away downstairs for a glass of wine after being part of a transfusion!
Sage orders from VH right there!
