"I know, but…" he sighed, "I just don't get it, I mean, they've done this a million times and the result is always the same!"

"Well in this case Shiara will win, unless they move to a full on aura duel, which can vary."

"Luma is more powerful than both of us" said Firiko, "Shiara is just a better fighter, that and she knows how to get Luma angry, which means he isn't focusing his aura, which means she can use the link between them to use his own aura against him, which is why she wins all the time unless it's a full on aura battle."

@StormX

"Ohhh I see now. She just knows how to push his buttons and get him angry enough to loose focus long enough for her to beat him. I fought him, just for practice, but he is so powerful even when he isn't trying to I have to imagine that Shiara is also very powerful in order to beat him." Laurette said while watching the silbings go at it, Shiara starting to prevail as the winner of the battle.

"Its not so much that she knows how to push him, its more she just frustrates him." said Firiko, "Luma knows Shiara can't handle his full power, which means he can't use it against her. But she knows he's faced and survived worse than her, so she has no qualms about using every trick she has. Luma is trying to fight her, and hold back at the same time so he doesn't hurt her."

"Yeah…" said firiko
Luma launched a golden blaze at shiara. Shiara laughed, knowing full well that she was immune as she summoned her shield. Then she launched a fire burst and two minutes later she was on top of him holding a small pouch high over her head.

@StormX

Laurette and Judson just sat back and watched as Luma and Shiara fought with each other. "Shiara seems so great. I wish I was the one who got to be her brother." Judson thought to himself.

"SHI-" Luma was suddenly silenced as Shiara got off of him. Clearly furious with her as she cradled the pouch. Firiko spotted and facepalmed. "Shiara give it back!" He yelled going over. "At least let him up!"
(Btw right now would be an awesome time to have more things try and kill them…)

@StormX

(Okay that sounds good.) Laurette and Judson watched as they argued when suddenly a huge crash came from behind them.

Firiko turned to see a very large monster tromping out of the trees, with several little ones following. "What is that?!" asked Firiko in shock.

Deleted user

"How should we know?!" Said Shiara drawing her dagger. Firiko shifted to take one on as the four of them were all surrounded.
(Poor Luma, he's gonna get it in a few moments..)

@StormX

(Ok thanks for the heads up) Judson summoned his aura sword in preperation for battle with the monsters standing in front of them.

Shiara was forced to shift as she fought, but suddenly the big monster let out a roar that blew them all to the ground. Firiko launched a spell at it but there was no effect. "It's immune to Spiritari!" he yelled, summoning flames in place of the silver Aura.

Luma watched as they all fought. unable to move or speak. he watched even more nervously as several of the creatures crept closer. One of them lept on top of him growling in his face. Luma could feel the creatures dark auras. Light warrior… came a voice in the back of his head. Must extinguish the light…. came another voice. empower the darkness….
Luma froze at that last one, fighting to suppress the surge from deep within. They… can provoke him! Luma thought desperately, I can't let him come back again!

@StormX

Laurette noticed that Luma was lying on the ground, seeminlgy defenseless now, she thought she should help him, so that they can take down the vicous and horrible monster.

"Laurette!" Shiara yelled for her, "I need you to cover me!" she yelled as she gathered her flames.
Firiko was busy fighting off some of the other creatures with Judson.

Luma felt fear rising in his throat as the creatures whispered in his head. Extinguish the light… empower the dark!
NO! he could feel their aura reaching for it, the darkness. I can't move! Or summon my aura! Shiara! he fought the control over him, knowing it was useless as long as Shiara had his Shards. He gasped as he felt a surge of pain, NO! Not again! he fought it as best he could but his aura was out of reach. He fought desperately, pain surging, "HELP!" HE managed to cry out just as the monsters began summoning a dark aura, No…. It's too late….

@StormX

"Ok I've got you. Go ahead Shiara. Do what you need to do." said Laurette while she was covering Shiara so she could fight the monster.

Judson heard Luma shreak and cry out for help so Judson rushed over to him as quickly as he could. Luma looked completley glued to the ground and paralyzed as if he couldn't move an inch. "Luma I'm gonna get you up ok." Judsosn said in a panic as he was trying to get Luma out of this situation.

Firiko and Shiara froze when they heard Luma's yell. They must be dark magic creatures! Hunting Luma's light aura! they thought in unison.
Then Firiko saw Luma's face, and Judson next to him. "Get back!" he pulled Judson away, "Shiara tell me you still have the shards!"
Shiara searched her pockets and luckily it was still there. "I have it!" She yelled sipping it around her neck and turning her focus on Luma as a dark mist enshrouded him.

Luma screamed as pain shot through him as he turned Serigala. (Think the werewolf form from before) next thing you knew and he was on his feet, armed, wings out. But looking into his eyes you couldn't see the friendly face from before. No, this was different, malicious. Evil. Luma lunged for Firiko and Firiko desperately shielded, throwing Luma back.
Luma landed on his feet, growling at Firiko.

"Bro…" Firiko spoke cautiously, "We're gonna get you out of this….." he said before pulling Judson back with him, backing slowly away from Luminero.

"I'm not your brother…." growled Luma

"We know who you are Shadowfang." said Shiara, fighting back the guilt. "And we won't let you stay"
