Mystery, fantasy, and I would be lying if I said that most of the books I have read for fun in the past ten years weren't dystopian YA novels (for books), dark-comedy, thrillers, and action/adventure (for film).
IDK man, I don't really read much tbh. I'm mostly a comics gal.
(Well, going off of the answer above...) "Bakuman" is pretty great, as is "Dokyuusei"! Highly recommend both!
