Sentient, minor elementals of the forest. The group that the party encountered were not hostile, but had been set upon by a predatory monster. Although things didn't go smoothly, they parted in peace.

Corpse Dangler close

Shapechangers with a taste for flesh, they are so named for their habit of killing their prey, feasting on them, and then stringing up the desiccated remains in trees.
