The first mutation, patient zero, happened to a doctor in Arizona. Naturally, by the time the infection took over her body and caused horrifying mutations, (as well as basically turning the poor doctor into a feral beast), it had already spread to dozens of patients. When someone finally noticed, the hospital was shut down and locked up, trapping all the beasts inside, it was already too late. The mutations were slow and agonizing, but the infection itself spread fast. Flash forward to about 5 years later, the world is in chaos, with about 60% of the population running wild. At first, scientists tried to find a cure, but it was taking too long. People were getting infected and killed faster than you could blink. So, cure-making was ushed to the background. Instead, monster hunters were introduced. They would kill whatever they could and bring the number of mutated down. The only reason this was approved, however, was because they believed all mutated were savage. But that's not true. While the percentage is low, some of the infected retain their mind even after the mutation was complete. Small communities of these mutated have found places to live and to hide from the monster hunters. One of these small communities, deep in the woods, is called Khrinave. And Khrinave has a problem. Some of its residents have unexpectedly gone savage, even though their mutations have fully finished. Their control seems to wave from the residents to the mutations, and nobody knows who could go next. Along with this, monster hunters have been spotted near their community. With morale falling, trust dissipating, and two ex-monster hunters who want to 'help' them, how far will the residents go to save Khrinave?
Sorry for the long intro, but I've been wanting to do this for a while. Khrinave is a community of about 17, but only 4 of those will be active characters, excluding mine. So-
Residents: 4/4
Monster hunters: 3/3

Extra spots might be open in the future, and feel free to ask questiona about the plot ^^
Oooh, this looks really interesting! Can I join?
Also, when you say the monster hunters are "helping," does that mean that they may or may not have ulterior motives, or are they definitely traitors?

Of course! And it really depends on if the people who play the monster hunters want them to have ulterior motives or not ^^
Okay! I think I'll be a mutated resident. One more question, do the savage mutated attack the non-savage mutated, and if so, do the savage ones also attack other savage ones? If not, how do they tell the difference?
Character template
Name: Willow Benjamin
Gender/pronouns: Female, she/her
Sexuality: Bisexual
Age: 23
Race: Caucasian
Mutation: So like a physical change? I'll go with extra long limbs. Disproportionately long legs, arms, fingers, and neck.
Backstory/how they found Khrinave: Was on vacation with her family on the edge of the woods; they tried to board up and stay safe in the cabin, but pretty quickly they all got infected. Willow was the only one who didn't go crazy, and took what she could to walk to town. She ran into the woods when a monster hunter tried to kill her, and traversed there for a while to avoid any more attacks and after getting lost. She stumbled upon Khrinave.
Extra details: Light brown hair, hazel eyes, scar crossing her upper lip. With the mutations, about 6'4.

Awesome character! And yes, if provoked in any way, the savage will attack non-savage, other savages, and of course regular humans
Also for you and any future people that might join, go ahead and give me some triggers so that I don't accidentally bring up any triggering content. At the very least I'll go, "TW: insert trigger" if it's absolutely necessary. And on a similar topic, there will be no explicit s3x scenes, and it will either fade to black if brought up or will be taken to DMs.
(Not me bumping this already cough cough)
(Apparently people don't like zombies anymore)
(I mean sure! If more people join we could definitely do this, I just don't know what the odds of that are 😅 this was made all the way back in March and kindof went nowhere)
(okay, I hope it works out, if not you could always delete this thread and repost it)
(True lol, but I'll wait for a bit before I try that. You never know)
(This is interesting! Can I join?)
(Thank you! Are the mutations chimeral or no?)
(I'm sorry I'm having a hard time grasping what the question is- but the mutations would usually be distorted limbs, new sets of eyes/mouths/arms, and generally typical body horror stuff)
(Oo, okay. I can work with that. I have a new idea!)
(Okay- I have been fighting with myself for the past five minutes about this. On the one hand, the topic is really cool. On the other hand, do I need more rp's? Probably not. However on my third mutated arm, I am typing this, so I might as well ask if I can join? :D)
(Of course! At this rate we'll definitely have enough people to start!)
(Haha, yeah! How soon would you like a character sheet up?)
