I haven't rped in a bit on here but I'm bored and stressed so I want a wlw high school romance set in my WIP. So basically magic exists. It's hidden from most people. My character is a witch. she has basically been completely shunned by the witch world (especially by her fellow witch teens who all go to the same public high school) because of something her father did. I'll put her character sheet below in a little bit. You have pretty much free range for who your character is but here are some quick blurbs about the different kinds of people and how they might feel about my character. Depending on what you pick this could be an enemy to lovers, friends to lovers or even friends to enemies, to lovers. Idk man.
Humans: Basically normal. doesn't know anything. A few humans have supernatural family members so they may know or they just stumbled upon the supernatural underground in their city. My character is pretty chill with most of the humans in her school so how they feel about each other would depend on their personality.
witch: (all people with powers are referred to as witches no matter gender identity or expression. Warlock is considered an offensive term.) They know about all kinds of supernatural beings in the world. They mostly combine together in communities called covens. there's like one coven per city or sometimes area. These covens have secret headquarters where most supplies are traded and witches can communicate with one another. There are separate daycares for young witches in these headquarters so they don't accidentally use their magic around humans. young witches ages 5-18 are usually in weekly classes one day after school(let's say like Tuesdays) that teach about magic. going into different branches after age like 14. (like potions, spell casting, sigils stuff like that) your character would probably have grown up with mine. been in the same class where maybe friends but after the incident, they most likely don't like her. (ill explain the incident in her backstory)
werewolves: sometimes these can be changed humans but most werewolves these days are born werewolves. They are basically normal people with a few quirks. Silver hurts them, they can do simple witch spells if they had the training, on the full moon they turn into wolves. most werewolves don't go after humans or witches anymore. some groups solely go after witches because that's how have been killing them. witches have been known for being werewolf hunters. at first in a means for self-defense and to protect their human neighbors(often putting up warding around their city against most other supernatural) but then it turned into a sport to go and attack werewolves on the full moon in the woods. werewolves are chill with vampires. My character has a pretty big bias against werewolves and werewolves usually hate witches.
vampires: These are tricky. Again most are born vampires but there are a few more turned vampires than turned werewolves. they are not completely immortal. They reach maturity at like 25 and then start aging slower so they can live to like 600 and look 30 when they are actually really old. (kind of using and logic here. that way it isn't like a 400-year-old dating a 17-year-old.) Fewer vampires are "vegan" than werewolves. Most still drinking from humans but they rarely take enough to kill. Again though witches hunt them. They hunt them less because vampires are but more dangerous. having more power than werewolves. They are able to slightly hypnotize people and use some witch magic. They do have a sensitivity to garlic and burn up while under direct sunlight for too long but the second one can be fixed with a daily potion.

Ok so I have a story I have been working on for the past 2 years, and it is in a similar universe, of course I have different kinds of werewolves as they are the main group mentioned and a few more groups mentioned such as I have a witch antagonist and a "Spirit of the future" (honestly no idea what that is but she knows Everything) I would be interested in this. I could explain my two different types of werewolves but that would take a while, if you want to know just ask (^-^) anyway.
That sounds really cool! I'd love to hear about your different kinds! Also, I was working on the character sheet and then fell asleep halfway through so I'm going to finish that now lol.
Lol, the different kinds are um the ones born that way and the ones born from the original in a genetic mutaion experiment gone wrong. Of course one of my characters in the story lied about it and tries to make everyone belive that there are no more that were born that way, as the town in the story is where the genetic experiment took place…Don't know if that makes sense to you but oh well.
It makes sense and I really like it. not sure if mutation would fit in this but I could help tweak it a bit for your character to fit if you're interested!
Sure, though my main character is one born that way not from mutation, my second main is from mutation. I felt like adding a difference could spice the story so it is not just a genereic werewolf kinda thing.
yeah, I like the idea. I have a turned werewolf in my story and a not turned one and their powers are pretty much the same but are treated a little differently and act very differently.
Yeah, of course I have it so the one born that way can turn into a wolve whenever he wants and avoids full moons. The genetic ones are more like the basic werewolf idea.
That could fit in if you want to do that. Witches have a lot of misconceptions about other supernatural powers so only changing on the moon could be one. btw meant to put this in their blurb but vampires and werewolves still go to the school. they would just avoid people finding out especially witches.

Her skin is usually pretty clear not counting the dark undereye circles shes had recently.
Personality: Shes ambitious. Going for what she wants. She cared deeply about others. She was always the "mom friend" carrying bandaids in her bag and planning trips with friends out. She still cares for others a lot. Especially her friends and even the friends who might hate her now but shes been trying to separate herself a bit. Shes been quiet and reluctant to talk to certain people. Avoiding a lot of the people that she used to know and where close to. She likes to read and cook. wants to be a human doctor.
Backstory: Her mum fought for the coven as a protector. meaning she was basically a witch cop. She "protected" the coven from other supernaturals. She was killed one day on the field. they arent sure by what but suspect werewolves. Her father made and sold potions and was also had a job as a nurse in a Human hospital. Unknown to Poppy he started working with a group of rogue witches that wanted to infiltrate the coven he's doing this because he believes the coven is responsible for his wife death. He helps kill two of the elders in the coven and 3 regular witches. He was caught and hung. Everyone thinks Poppy helped him but she didn't even know anything about until his trail. There was an investigation and the Coven officials found her innocent but most of the members still distrust her. no one buys her potions anymore or would even sell her ingredients. Shes even gotten a few purposefully cursed objects sent her way when she tried buying from the market.
Family/current homelife: She lives on her own int he small apartment her family lived in together. The coven supplies her with some money and paperwork incase the human authorities get suspicious that's shes all alone.

Backstory: He grew up with only his little sister and his dad for 3 years after his mothers death, His mother and sister are the only ones he ever let call him Connor and after his mothers death he never used the name. His father remarried and they moved in together, she ingored Alex when his father was home (him having a job that caused him to leave on buisness trips a lot) but after he left she treated Alex like trash. Her son Justin would come over on some weekends and would bully Alex. After he turned 16 he met his friend Zach who is the leader of the werewolf group/gang that call themselfs the "Howlers". Alex joined thier group and became a co-leader with Zach, he got kicked out of his house by his stepmom and moved in with Zach.
