In a world of shifters where the government always gets their way, where each bit of land is controlled, there is a village in a valley, untouched by technology.

A soldier finds this village. A soldier which bears a gun and other weapons. The village leader's youngest son, Kai, who has no role in the village, and is constantly reprimanded for not having started a family yet, spends his time exploring the woods around the village, where he finds the soldier.

Despite the language and cultural barrier, feelings spark, with the curious yet shy Kai, and the soldier.

Obviously I will be Kai.

Appearance : He has shaggy gray hair and light blue eyes. He has a lean muscular build and only wears shorts, never a shirt or shoes. His wolf is gray and smaller than average.
Background : Kai is the youngest son of the village leader, his older brothers have purposes and roles in the village, something Kai lacks. He tries to be of help but ends up spending most of his time in the trees around the village.

Appearance: He has curly brown hair and light green eyes. He has a muscular build and mostly travels alone with a sword, he normally wears plain T-shirts and jeans, with shoes.
Background: Kuto was adopted at a young age and was raised to be a soldier to fight in the war alongside his brother though he never wanted that life, so one day he ran away leaving his old life behind and starting a new one.

Hakuto walks into the town admiring the small businesses along the road as he walks through the town he gets a glimpse of a small gray wolf in the forest out of the corner of his eye, he shrugs it off slightly but still feels really interested as he walks around the town he looks over at the forest every minute or so and soon his curiosity gets the best of him and he walks into the woods following the small gray wolf from afar admiring him

Hakuto walks through trees that seemingly never stop until he arrives at a small isolated village with no other civilization for miles away, he stands in the forest looking at the village from a distance seemingly interested in all of the shape-shifters, this was different for him were he grew up was always surrounded by other people and villages as Hakuto was lost in his thoughts he sees a small gray wolf run past him, he was startled slightly but kept his eyes on the village.

Hakuto soon decided to walk back into the woods to go find the small gray wolf

Kai darted through the trees, his tail wagging happily as he chased a small rabbit. He wasn't going to hurt it, he just wanted to play. He jumped on it right as the rabbit ducked into a hole. He whined and pawed at the ground, wanting to play.

As Hakuto watches Kai he feels a sense of urgency to go up to him and talk to him, Yet Hakuto stays where he is watching from a distance a strange feeling in his chest

Kai shifts back to human and picks the rabbit up, holding it close and petting it as he talks to it in his native language, one only known by the village. He stands up, still holding the little bunny and looks around.

Hakuto makes a small sound of surprise when Kai shifts back into a human, Hakuto watches Kai in amazement and curiosity trying to stay out of his line of sight so he wont get caught

Kai nuzzles against the bunny, who squirms out of his grasp. He pouts as it goes back into the hole, getting down on his knees and reaching in the hole, unable to get the bunny back. He pouts and says something in his tongue.
