I was looking at my old rps and this was one of my favorite ideas.
The princess was cursed. On her 18th birthday, she will fall into a deep death-like sleep. Only to be woken up by true loves kiss. When the king found this out instead of sending her away with some stupid fairies he focused more on the "true love" part. She was raised around plenty of boys her age. One of them will have to be the one. The princess knows all of this. She knows that true love will be the only way but she knows none of these boys will work. She was about to give up with only a few weeks left until she met a girl that might just work…

Whip straps have left a mark stretching down the insides of her arms, running right up to the start of her shoulders in uneven, random lines that leaves scattered memories of her father's drunken nights. Wide, black eyes that are nearly always narrowed with raised eyebrows, hollowed cheekbones. Tall and well-built, used to shifting through strange towns, sprinting between buzzing markets and crowded streets. Usually from something dangerous.
A thick bramble bush of black hair billows wildly around her face, never quite touching her shoulders. Ringlets dance around her face and an occasionally thin smile light up her face like the moon peaking out each night.
Curl of star tattoos down her spine.

Bored, lifeless expression even in the face of intimidation, mostly due to her parenting but she knows how useful it is in her line of work. Theres an alluring aspect of her, maybe the odd friendliness that she shows only to children but nonetheless people tend to thank her for her work and stories spread. She's a charmer, so she crafts a personality best to whoever she meets whether that means flirting, acting nonchalant or too interested in whatever they have to say. Deep down she's a quiet book worm who admirers those in power (the royal family) who use it to do good willingly and loves her hometown.

Daughter of the kingdom's most sought after merchant in the land, Chase's Dad and her tend to skip from town to town selling, trading and maybe sometimes dealing in some not so strictly legal business. Which has always been Chase's favourite past. The thrill of danger, knowing that her father relied on her in those moments. In their business, which she'd been in since a very small child, they travelled a lot and met hundreds of people. She learnt to charm, steal and most of all, sell. She learnt the worth of every item in the kingdoms and how she could oversell them.

Description: Long straight black hair that's down to her lower black when down. She has it up in a neat bun most of the time. She always strives for everything she does to look perfect. When she isn't in the public eye she can be found wearing pants or more "boyish" Clothes. Her hair in a ponytail or messy bun..
Personality: To the outside eye she's usually very serouse and slightly "stuck up". She makes sure she appears like this so no one thinks she is anything but a rightful princess. Scared that if she doesnt she wont find the one. She's always nervous for that day. For when she falls asleep and have to rely on the line of boys shes befriended oer the years. She's rather friendly once she gets comfortable around others. Mainly hanging out with biys in her childhood has made her slightly a tomboy" She's adventures an likes to be outdoors. Loing the thrill of riding a horse or exploring the wood. backstory: She was cursed as a baby. She istn sure why or by who. Her father reassures her that the person who did it is long gone but she somehow doesnt believe him. She has lived her entire life preparing for her 18th birthday where she will fall asleep and never wake up until she is kissed by her true loe. Her father thought that meant surround her by boys her entire childhood. Hoping that she'll fall for one of them. She ended up befirending almost all of them. There where a few asses in the bunch but mos of them where nice. Lili just wasn't attracted to any of them. She's pretty much given up by now. She has a secret bucket list that she's been working on all year. Checking off things that she wants to do before her 18th. She's almost done all of them.

Lili looked around the throne room. She was sitting next to her mothers her hands folding on her lap. She struggled to sit still as her mother and father talked amongst themselves. She saw merchants, knights, and serants walk in and out of the castle. some coming up and asking her parents a question.

Chase shot through the palace gates, twirling through the grand crowds of adoring citizens and frantic guards. Most people called out to her, not all of them in the nicest way, but Chase smiled all the same. Publicity of any kind is good, business is business.
Speaking of which, she had a lot to do, at least five deliveries and transactions to make, plus one guy in particular she'd been waiting to piss off. But, being busy wasn't anything new for her.
She pulled her dark hood over her head, dodging the guards who were barely paying attention to her anyway. They knew the drill, let her move about like she owned the place and she'd provide goods. Legal or not.
Her father was already inside, among the nobles and high-class merchants, probably chatting his way up towards the throne. The grey-haired, crafty-eyed storm borrowing the form of her father, was a wildly spontaneous main on a good day. Present him a challenge and he'd conquer it, provide him a mountain and he could move it, introduce him to a hard heart and he could melt it, even if just to rob them raw.
Chase wanted to be just like him. Minus the spurts of uncontrollable rage that rolled out like a wave and left just as quickly.
And as she lulled her jog to a confident strut, noticing the many glares and nods of the richest people in the village, she knew she was getting there.
Up ahead, she could see the royalty above the heads of tall strangers, they looked almost fake. Beautiful, poised and protected like dolls, with perfect posture and practiced smiles.
Ironically, Chase respected them, looked forward to seeing them. Something about royalty always enchanted her.
She pushed through the crowd, locking eyes on her father who stood right towards the front of the crowd, mere steps before the royal guards and the queen.
Chase stopped short, looking up at the leaders of her favourite kingdom in the land, awestruck.

Lili kept her back straight but her hand was starting to tap on the arm rest. She glanced up at the grand clock that was able the grand entrance. She was supposed to be excused in a half an hour for classes. Classes she didn't plan on attending. When her gaze fell back down to the crowd she stopped at a girl. She was pretty sure she recognized her but wasn't sure. Her parents wrapped up their conversation and mode on to the next people. They where the picture of perfection. Lili rarely ever saw them stutter. Tehn again she barely saw them at all. With her birthday coming up neither of them could even look her in the eye.

She was completely mesmerised by the fluidity of the King and Queen, the beauty of their daughter and warm but firm air that surrounded the three. As the line went up, a cage of butterflies exploded, flapping their wings violently against her stomach, persistent to see the royalty before her.
Chase marvelled at the idea of never having to lift a finger for money, to exist and be adored for doing just that, to rule a kingdom without conquering it. To be so effortlessly perfect.
Still, she knew it was work like hers, keeping up an appearance, alliances and promises to thousands of people, ruling over them. Chase wasn't sure she'd ever be cut up to anything close to that kind of power.
And then Lili, the princess of whom everyone adored, fluttered her gaze over Chase.

It had been minuscule, a fleeting chance, barely a glance, but Chase was spellbound. Her father and her, were two people from the front of the line and Chase's mind was bounding far away from her usual mischievous dealings and plans.

Lili looked down at her lap after scanning the crowd. Her thoughts flying all around and she was getting rather bored. She looked back up and saw the same girl from before now slightly closer in line. "Excuse me mother could I be excused ten minutes early? John wants to have a walk in the garden before my lessons," she whispered the lie to her mother. Mentioning a boy's name is a sure way to get her parents to agree to anything.
"Of course dear," The queen answered without looking over at Lili. Lili nodded and looked back at the crowd seeing that the girl was next. She studied her a little more than before. taking in her simple beauty and built body.
