Life was always normal and boring; until the virus, that is. Not many people knew about it and even fewer got infected, but those who did got their life changed permanently. Life has become a game of corrupt government hiding the infected from the rest of society. The infected, magical shadow beasts that were once human, mean no harm and the government knows that. They just don't want their little utopia to break. For humans, life is a utopia powered solely by the infected. On the other hand, for the infected, life is a painful and inescapable maze.

Appearance: Crystal looks mostly human other than her shadowy ears, arms, legs and tail. Her human part has pale skin and long silver hair with purple eyes. The shadowy ears and tail look like a combo of cat, wolf and fox. Her arms and legs look like chibi arms with 4 fingers and cat legs with three toes. All the shadowy parts are black.
Personality: Crystal is actually very nice, though she has thought about hurting the guards a few times. She has okay self control and really just wants out.
Abilities: Purple lightning (from hands) and infection (hard to do)

Appearance: She's 5'0, with short cut hair that curtains across her face. It's currently dyed dark blue, streaked with silver and pastel green. Her eyes are golden. She wears a large Imagine Dragons hoodie, ripped jeans and mud covered converse, along with a black back pack. It's covered in gold and silver shiny stars.
Personality: She's tough, street smart for sure. She's also quick, ruthless, and cold. Very defensive, but has a sense of curiosity about space and other wordly things, and this virus has caught both of her eyes more than cryptids, due to it's strange abilities.
Abilities: Parkour, lock picking, skate boarding, has a strong inward compass. Can read directions and time by the sun, along with the stars. Always has star maps on her.
Other: She has a little black kitten with one eye named Spludge. Loves it more then most people.
